Canadian Hockey League DAL Dynamos vs. The Omegas Game 2

Day 571, 12:12 Published in Canada Canada by Adasko

After winning game one of the series, The Omegas seemed to be an unstoppable force, with no immovable objects on it's way. Team General Manager and Captain, marcchelala stated; The last game was great, now We're going for another one like that. I certainly hope We will win. The DAL Dynamos manager and captain, koolmanjack responded; I think that one loss doesn't prove anything. We've been working hard since the last game, analysing our opponents gameplay, and I'm pretty sure We're capable of beating them this time.

The tension was mounting on Quick News Arena (Montreal), the home of the Omegas, when both teams entered the arena. After singing the eCanadian National Anthem, the teams started the game. Officiated by Dade Pendwyn and Plugson, it was sure to be a fair contest, which didn't mean it would be a easy one for either side.

The game started at a fast pace with the Omegas winning the opening faceoff and rushing towards the Dynamos goal, with marcchelala in posession of the puck. He crossed the blue-line, going against Derek Harland and koolmanjack. Marcchelala got rid of Derek with a great deke, leaving him only with koolmanjack and the goalkeeper Uraczak ahead of him. The Omegas center decided to pass it behind him, leaving it really close to the blue-line. The puck got to the intended receiver, Mirahge, who took a strong one-timer slapshot heading right for Uraczak. This resulted in one of the weirdest situations in eHockey, when the puck deflected off the goalies helmet, hit the post, and ended up in the net. 1:0 Omegas

After a few minutes of a strong physical game, which kept both goalkeepers, Emilio Sanchez and Uraczak on their feet, there came another mistake from the Dynamos. As Leps Dissim was coming through for a breakaway he was tripped by Mr. Mills, DAL's defender. This of course started chaos on the rink, as the Omegas demanded a Penalty Shot. Plugson however, claimed that Leps was not on a breakaway yet, and treated the situation as a normal trip, and the teams were pointed to the circle near DAL's goal. Marcchelala won the faceoff and passed the puck to Fram instantenously, which resulted in a big shot from the winger, right under Uraczak's right hand. What a goal! 2:0 Omegas

At the start of the second period, DAL attempted changing things around, and posted the second line against The Omegas first line, which resulted in a catastrophy. Fred Carle won the faceoff, only to feed Ralph de Ver with a perfect pass to intercept. The Omegas defender passed it up towards the blue line to Marcchelala, who beat Nucksalttheway to the puck, and ended up on a break away. Easy goal for the home team. 3:0 Omegas

After scoring for the third time, The Omegas loosened up, sending their second line in. Shots came from every direction, but Alias Vision, Jake Bannon or Leps Dissim didn't beat the goalie. The breakthrough came, when the first line came back with a quick pass from Fram to Mirahge, which ended up in another one-timer goal from the games first scorer. 4:0 Omegas

Nobody expected the events that would follow. After a big brawl, involving Petz and Halve, after their heated discussion with referee Plugson about an offside, which ended up in Petz calling Halves mother a Buffalo. Plugson got caught in the crossfire and was replaced by Kelly Mahoney (who had no idea about refereeing, so Dade Pendwyn kept the whole game running) after a serious chest injury he sustained from the headbutt Halve wanted to treat Petz with. Another discussion ensued on whether Halve should be thrown out of the game. The final decision was a five minute penalty for Halve, which placed the Dynamos in an even worser situation. Then... The miracle occured...

Koolmanjack passed the puck to Ayeshan Dakseus, who cleared it. The puck bounced off the board and hit the unexpecting Emilio Sanchez, who tripped and fell into the goal with the puck in his glove. Rumours say, that Emilio was talking to CHS on his headset to ensure Plugson gets treated right. That's a shorthanded goal for the DAL Dynamos. 4:1 Omegas

Halve skated back on the ice, 30 seconds before the end of the second period, the first thing that hit him, was a pass from Scorpius, which passed through the defence, and ended up right on Halves stick, and after a booming slapshot, in goal. 4:2 Omegas

The Dynamos kept pushing forward in the third period, flying on the wings of momentum (yeah, I'm a effing poet). Scorpius rushed forward, and after barely avoiding a booming hit from David Letang (who hit the boards, instead of hitting Scorpius) and ripped a slapshot straight at Emilio, who after making a big pad saved got beaten by Ayeashan Daksues' rebound. 4:3 Omegas

The Dynamos gained more and more momentum, forcing the Omegas into agressive and risky gameplay, finally resulting in a penalty against Antony Khorchy, who crossed-checked Mr. Mills right in front of Kelly Mahoney. A quick faceoff was won by Ayeashan and Derek Harland's shot bounced off Scorpius' stick, scoring the tying goal! 4:4

Two minutes left in the period, the first lines are resting before the final straight. DAL is dominating the Omegas, creating a castle around their net. Fred Carle, passed it to dWarelis. The puck ends up back in Fred Carles possesion. The puck went to Nucksalttheway, who launched a nice accurate wrist shot, beating the screened Emilio Sanchez. 5:4 Dynamos

The Omegas decided to pull their goalie for the last minute, which later proved to be the nail to their coffin. After a quick interception by dWarelis, and a pass to Tooyaleon, We have an empty netter sealing the deal. Final Score: 6:4 Dynamos
