Canadian Government Press Release: Impeachment

Soon, an impeachment vote will be put up against our Prime Minister, Bruck. This is an action we are taking to further secure the integrity of our nation in case of a Hungarian success. ALL CONGRESSMEN VOTE "NO" ON THE IMPEACHMENT!!!
Allow me to explain, an impeachment vote can only be held once a week. This means, that if we hold an impeachment vote that fails now, even if the Hungarians manage by some miracle to gain a 66% majority in congress, they will not be able to impeach.
I can confidently say that the government is making this threat its top priority and is working as hard as it can to ensure the safety of our citizens from this terrorist threat. I can confidentally say that a successful Hungarian takeover is very unlikely at this moment. Even if it were to happen, we are taking measures to reduce the amount of damage they can do including the emptying of our treasury and this impeachment.
Once again, all congress members vote "NO" on the impeachment. All who see this, vote this article up with what you can. All Canadians should also be subscribed to this newspaper to receive updates and important information.

and for those three days after they do impeach, Zanalan assumes the presidency- another very trusted Canadian and former prime minister.

After searching for the proposal in my 64 alerts.. I found the impeachment and voted no.

I find this action quite... despicable.
Why would we even fear a true takeover when just a rumour of a takeover can already crash the Canadian political system with fake impeachments and other such nonsensical attempts. Before we know it we're stuck with a dictator to protect us against the evil invaders, while that invasion is a rumour at best.
If, as a nation, we are grown up, we should act as such. Not run around like headless chickens.

i think he's saying that we're overreacting to what might be nothing at all. i'm not saying wheather i agree or not, i'm mearly stating my interpretation of his comment, since what i saw and what you saw seems different.

I agree with Joe and Avernite. This type of over-reaction is more detrimental than helpful.
1) It prohibits Canadians from impeaching our own president should something untoward happen during this week.
2) It gives way too much credence to the possibility of a takeover.
3) The presidency would have went to Zanalan anyway, had they impeached.
