Hello eAustralia, earlier this week I announced my candidature for Prime Minister of eAustralia. A lot of people knew this was a long time coming, I felt it was time for some fresh ideas and a progressive outlook.
No Gimmicks or empty rederick, just tangible goals and targets which will set the country up for the future and beyond.
Today I will be outlining some of my Defence and Security policies.
Department of Defence-
The Department of Defence this month will be in charge of short term rejuvenation of coordinating, organising Resistances,Battles etc to maximise our damage. Their main objective is to work closely with the MU’s of eAustralia to make sure everyone is on the same page. Also to consistently produce normal DoD work such as constant orders, working with the ADF Marshal and organising battles to an extent. The DoD will also be assisting the Military Commission. The MoD will undergo bringing back #auswar and live coordination, alongside MU Leaders and members of the Commission.
Main points:
-Use #auswar to start coordinating battles again
-Work with allied MU’s
-Work with the ADF Marshal and MU Leaders
-Provide constant orders that are updated frequently
-Help the Commission with any relevant changes to the ADF and funding.
-Assist the ADF Marshal with structural changes in the ADF.
Military Commission-
The last few months our Defence has been lacking, we are lagging behind other nations in coordinating and organising damage and a lot of damage has gone ineffectively used. An idea had been lingering in the
back of my mind for a couple of months has been to create a council or
commission if you like, of the top military brains in the country and from
overseas. They will work with MU leaders on finding the most effective ways ofmodernising our military. How this will be done is that an in game message will becreated with those involved and an IRC channel will be set up. I will also be selecting someone to head the council to make sure it is running efficiently.What I want the Commission to produce is a report on how to practically applythe best way of running the ADF, through discussion and ideas by the Commission.
Main points:
-Provide a report outlining the most appropriate way to reform the ADF
-Provide a report on how to better coordinate and organise battles which can be practically applied
-Help with planning of battles and anticipating them
ASIO-
The ASIO will replace the DoISC and will act withextended purpose. The ASIO will act like the old NSA did, sussing out potential threats, control immigration process and if needed, organise ATO processes if the IG calls a state of PTO. The ASIO, if applicable with the Forum Admin will be given their own sub forum to effectively work from.
-To approve/disapprove citizens of other countries applying for citizenship
-To be provided a forum to be able to work in privacy to suss out potential threats
-Organise ATO operations if an imminent PTO threat is abound and verified by the IG.
These are only some of my proposed changes. I would also love to here public opinion on what changes you want brought to the table, all serious ideas are valid and hope to see some ideas put forward as we.

You're on the right track but I think you've placed too much emphasis in how things should be without any plan to actually get us there. To an X extent you will have to spearhead this process yourself to show someone is in charge. Relying on the ministries themselves to lead the effort without any direct and frank CP command guidance and frequent prodding will result in more of the same. That is IMHO. That said, thumbs up on the plan.. but keep finger on the pulse at all times & prod them.
.. as an addendum to the above - this has been my one and only concern with you Cal. You have an excellent diplomatic tone which will help in bilaterals with other countries but when it comes to hard choices you tend to look around for the exit when there is no way out. Toughen up mate and you'll do well.

I would say that the military would be your primary focus since ASIO is pretty useless now (no congress). Hopefully you'll be able to get gather a few people and strengthen the military a bit more, it's just all over the place now.

@Chile: The evidence is beyond doubt that you waylaid us in the so-called 'negotiations' so you would have us believe you were acting in good faith, yet you timed the execution of the arrangement so we would just miss the congressional deadline so you could blame it on game mechanics. The truth will set you free in the eyes of the international community, who now see you as dishonest players. You may be stronger than us militarily, but you need us because we are a far greater diplomatic asset.
@Kanguroos: Go to mourn the church, if you were not able to negotiate before, when Chile's call meetings. then do not blame someone who is innocent.

TJ Norton, stop whining and trying to get rid of your own responsability. Gosh, you guys sound like the clichee you name of latin americans: Everybody's else fault, except yourselves!
Immovable facts:
1. Chile offered you guys negotiations about granting you regions WAY BEFORE any danger of not getting a congress.
2. You guys delayed the talks to the last moments, whereas you knew it could fail due to time requirements.
3. Thank your loyal Argentine allies, they fought hard in NT, for CHILE!!!

Manro😛 That's a nice recitation of fiction but the facts stand that we responded with sufficient time before the deadline and it took hours for eChile to respond. Your CP was forever passing the buck to the MoFA, which is fine, but your MoFA took forever (and in some cases - if ever) to respond to PMs.
Our hands are clean. Time to stop the spin and fess up to the plot all along, which likely involves your mates in eNZ.
Callum, while I admire your goals, I don't think the best way to achieve ADF rejuvenation is to hire a new committee. We tried that approach once and the committee was only interested in protecting their own positions while not actually accomplishing anything at all for the ADF.
A better and simpler idea would be to use the MHC forum to make threads asking for input and to discuss ideas. ADF officers and MU leaders should be able to all contribute there, along with any others you add.
One thing's for sure Louise. It might suceed that you guys backstabbing with the violation of our NAP might suceed. For now we know, you guys are same honourless as the eArgies. Backstabbed us in TERRA (argie was exceptionally right), now the NAP. Croatia is not going to be in Asia for ever, and when we come back, we will wipe you for MONTHS without any mercy and crumbs for your congress... take this for granted.
I forgot to specify on my committee selection. All major mu leaders will be invited into the committee. Oh and the input section was something I missed as well 😛 yes I will set up public forum for the public to bring forth some ideas
The NAP was invalid as soon it became clear that there were no Congressional Elections, so therefore no NAP took place. We are always open for negotiation but we are not going to roll over to a country that just wiped us.
