Burnt offerings...

But swell not too much Their holocausts
Lest you wake Their greed
And They devour the world...
Originally i thought to publish my shadow cabinet today, but watching the latest events and the legion of trolls marching through, i think it's more interesting to give some insights, how i evaluate the current status of Indias international relationships.
India
Indias infestation with PTO attemps is a long story, but i'm not interested in doing history lessons. Instead i want you to realize the two reasons, why these attempts occour.
First, the low number of loyal citizens (means eIndians, who have the citizenship, because they are rl-Indians or foreigners, who are working for Indias interests and none other). It's no news that a low number of citizens makes it easy to generate overwhelming numbers of votes by TOers. Either because of excellent planning (what i really admire and respect as an achievment in a game) or by creating multiple accounts respectively using an already existing botnet (what i consider as an attack on the game itself, undermining the whole process of fair competition between human players and therefore deliberately destroying the game in the long shot).
Second, the choice to be an independent, neutral country. As a weak and underdeveloped country in this game, eIndia has neither the raw power (economically, military) nor the elaborated structures in organization and knowledge, which are crucial to swim with the big sharks. In other words, we can't truly realize what we claim to be, we are not independent and we can't avoid to work with the big alliances. No matter how often the words are repeated, the facts draw a different picture.
As far as i have witnessed the events in eIndia for the last few months, the governments seemed to haven't realized what they can do and demand on the international stage, with the result of confusing and annoying decisions. But it is no surprise, because weakness plus neutrality means, you are alone and everything you get, depends on what others are willing to give you. All eIndia has done in the last time is to get benefit of the conflict between EDEN and Phoenix, but never be to far dragged into it. Of ourse the alliances aren't idiots, so they turned the tables and forced eIndia to cooperate. Once USA, then Serbia and who knows who will be the next one. Maybe even Pakistan with the support of the US Dioists.
What eIndia has to understand, that the alliances don't accept the idea of neutrality. If you aren't on their side, you're an enemy. And if you're weak, they don't bother to convince you, but use you as a chess piece in their global struggle for dominance.
eUSA
The relationship to eUSA is delicate, because of different influences and experiences. A long time ago, eUSA 'freed' Karnataka from eIndonesia and helped eIndia to gain more control over their original regions. Their price was to keep Karnataka, what is ok, because they did what eIndia could't do itself. It is not condemnable to get some profit out of a good deed. And as they helped together with the croats to keep eIndia un-PTOed by pro-PEACE/Phoenix agents, there was even less reason to demand to leave eIndia. But this good deeds turned bitter, when official contracts were set null and void and eUSA wasn't force to pay rent or leave, because noone could assert our claims. Also, the US government did nothing to improve the situation, instead eIndians had to read many insults against them, without any rational reason.
These tensions have risen further. Although eUSA left eIndia a while ago, they obviously didn't change their attitide towards us. The demonstration of this attitude wasn't a long time in the coming. The land-swap with eSerbia was enough to insult a whole country and it's players in worst way and with big hullabaloo. Losing their influence in the region, some US players decided to highjack ePakistan, another weak country. This wasn't only of strategic interest, but also result in a new threatening situation towards eIndia.
Now eUSA has decided, they want MPP for another month, because they must have recognized, that they are losing their grip on eIndia. There are some more active players around than a few months ago and we have started to build a suitable government. Of course, there is still a long and hard way to go. But such a government means more self-confidence and therefore the chance for rearrangement of international relationships.
This chance is threatening the situation of EDEN in whole asia, especially if there is no other PTO attempt by pro-Phoenix forces. When eCroatia did everything to help eIndia and therefore deserve our friendship and cooperation, eUSA (especially their politicians and their unleashed, uncontrolled troll brigades) did everything to destroy our tenuos relationship with EDEN. Their present surge of new mockery and insults subverting the already doubted relations even more.
And now?
Whoever will become the next president has to deal with this situation. In my mind there is no chance, we could be neutral anymore. Because with neutrality decisionmaking is a mine field and we hardly get access to battles, markets and - more important than everything else - knowledge. We don't have to decide in haste, but at least we should begin to actively evaluate our options.
I'm so sorry for the wall of text
😁

PS: I've simplified some of the events, if there are indecisive statements, please don't mind to comment and call me an idiot. But you have to wait in line!
PPS: No beer and tv makes Homer go crazy! Also, not getting some interesting pictures between the passages -.-

eUSA failed in diplomacy and EDEN too had to have some strategy concerning eIndia...
eIndia isn't to be blamed for letting Serbia pass through, eUSA is to blame... EDEN is to blame... EDEN had to sign strong alliances with eIndia before that happened, cause India was strategically important. They had to pay for alliances and protect eIndia and this wouldn't happen in the first place. India on the other side would have had regular wars and support from EDEN...Now it's maybe to late, eSerbia is almost down under...
Great job eUSA, especially with your armadas of trolls!
India respect from Croatia! and good luck to whomever becomes the president, he'll need it.
Neutrality rules IMO 😃
Long live neutrality and all the trouble it brings, if we joined an alliance we would just be a small fish in a large pool following others orders.
Saying that right now we are a large fish not in a pool but it real fun trying to stay alive making our own breathing choices 🙂
How long we can stay out of water is another question but we have done so almost for 18 mths now so why not another 18 mths 🙂
@david forde
cause this is not RL... everything is based on wars here, even the economy... and how are eIndian ppl supposed to gather exp and rank points without wars?
Neutrality is not good in erep until admin changes whole concept of the game and that wont happen soon... wars are the only thing that is fun!
But i guess you can be neutral with regular TWs, but without such an agreement, there's no way you will prosper : /
Antich yes I agree war is a must but we can have war whilst staying neutral as the World is such that MPP's will always get triggered, all our government has to do is sign the right MPPs, I would suggest maybe Hungary, Russia, Canada, Ireland etc etc
Cool david, if thats possible stay neutral... but give us some wars ASAP (:
Voted
Neutrality is best ... in RL, if you can afford it.
In eRep it makes no sense at all. *vote*
give us war
🙂

hmmm, let's see how it goes... screw you guys, i'm going home : P
eIndia- you will likely sign a mpp with Serbia, you obviously don't respect Croatia, as Serbia is their sworn enemy.
The writer is right that eIndia cannot truly be neutral, it depends on India to choose a side. It looks increasingly likely that you have chosen.
As far as I'm aware the 'attitude' toward India was mere grumbling by a select few until the landswap with Serbia, After that it got louder, but things didn't explode until the MOFA article with the vielded threat / strategic reality. Why did we hand Karnataka back to India? To see India give us a big F*** you and become a Phoenix aligned power? I was one of the many who supported giving back Karnataka to India, and fought to help free Pakistan, but seeing how our actions have been repayed with "your attitude isn't right, i'm joining Hungary and Serbia because i'm scared of them" has made me wonder if those who said to keep it weren't right in the long run...
US trolls may wet the ashes of a burned bridge through words, but Indian politicians burned the bridge through concrete actions. These aforesaid actions, and the likely ones so soon after the landswap do not support the idea that most Indians were against the Serbian landswap.
"What eIndia has to understand, that the alliances don't accept the idea of neutrality. If you aren't on their side, you're an enemy."
That is not true mate, look at our excellent relationship we have with countries like Romania and Spain, they've been good friends and they accept our position, otherwise they wouldn't have been this friendly for months.
The point with a lot of US guys now, is that they seem to fail to notice that we've been called "US puppets" and "EDEN members" from Phx side from months, but now that things shift a bit, they do scream that we are becoming "Phx member" and stuff like that.
It's just the fact that most people are blind to the facts and they only say what they think are the facts because that pleases them more than the real facts.
we respect our enemies but we care for our allies...
thats what you americans dont understand and thats why you ll never be no1 in this game...
india is not under phoenix pto threat anymore so it can only be ptoed by eden... i dont believe that its gonna happen so you are clear guys enjoy your neutrality...
