Welcome to the inaugural issue of the Buckeye State News. We strive to make this the news source for issue of importance to Columbus, the Ohio region and the citizens that make the Buckeye State their home.
Our first major story will be a comprehensive census of citizens and companies in the Ohio region. Our hope is that this fundemental information will be useful to the community and local government in understanding who we are, what we are doing and what we need to take Columbus into the future. The census is currently being compiled and will likely be released next week following the Labor Day holiday.
We look forward to bringing you many more stories about the dynamic growth of our region, our elected representatives and to inform the citizenry so that we can knowledgably make decisions on priorities, policies and agendas.
