Bring your Marshmallows - this is a GAME!

Day 1,853, 10:31 Published in Australia Chile by Vyrin the First

I'm making a noob start. I tried to update the picture on my newspaper, but like most things in eRep, that didn't work. So here is what I'm wearing these days:

Burn baby Burn!

You see when something is on fire, there are rules if you want to put it out. Find a water source. Find a container to transport the water. Have a person bring the full container to the source of the fire. Dump. Repeat.

In eRep, there are rules too when a country isn't doing well. Even simpler ones because this is a simple GAME and not real life. Recruiting new players and training them is like the water. It may not work right way, but if you repeat enough times it always does. Asking the fire to go out nicely doesn't really help all that much.

Problem is, many play the game thinking that hooking up in the backrooms of IRC is a rule. It's not even required. And you can catch nasty things back there. Fires down below and such.

So when people consistently attempt to not respect the situation for what it is and spend all their time ignoring the rules and expecting the fires to go out there's only one thing to do. Thanks for the communication Greg, but all I can say is:

Grab the marshmallows, graham crackers and best chocolate you can find! That's the best we can ever expect with the current mindset.

Oh and please join my new betting pool on who will take our first territory after eChile leaves. It will be in the General topic in the forum so everyone can participate. Wager amounts will be small. After all, we are poor peasants.
