Bring back Plato!!!



As revealed in the new Insider, yet another virtual female join the ranks of the New World prominence, replacing the good ol’ Plato.

This change begs two questions:
1. Why do the game developers assume, that all players are horny male teenagers, whose pockets tend open at the mere sight of pixels resembling a female shape?
2. Why aren’t they all at least partially nude, just for the sake of the main idea’s consistency? Why not adding a button next to these pictures, with the offer: “See this girl naked for 1 gold”? (This is me trying to be constructive)

I’m certainly not one of those moralists, who argue that society will crumble because of the youth’s access to female nudity. Heck! The main reason I visit the Internet is to see naked chicks!
However, I find the pussification of eRepublik offensive, exactly because it assumes that we can be persuaded by such cheap marketing tricks. Since I have studied marketing myself, I can confidently say, that it’s not such a great idea. It only makes the desperate short-term goal of just cashing-in, even more visible, and in the same time, it makes the game look less serious. If we want to see girls, there are other places on web, where better quality can be found.

So please, bring back Plato and add some guys too! There is a rumor going around that there are female players too.
