THE LARGEST SCAM IN EREPUBLIK HISTORY

CALIFORNIA, USA — Today the admins banned through an entire ring of banks and high-profile orgs, after a simple scam uncovered the whole situation. The Monetary Bank of Sweden, an org created for the purpose of the scam, posted this in the forums:

The scam was done again a few weeks later, under the org of Majestic Leaf Bank, with this forum threa😛

The investors of the scam signed this contract (http://www.erepublik.com/en/forum/topic/140758/contract-between-the-mbs-and-investors/1) which has recently been successfully contested with trials, resulting in most of the investors receiving their money back.



The MBS scam however was only the tip of the iceberg of the largest scam in the history of eRepublik. The admins, after finding out about the initial MBS scam from the scores of enraged investors, unearthed the largest scam in history, banning tens of orgs and citizens, containing thousands of gold of assets. Thousands of gold and companies worth thousands more were banned in one of the largest crackdowns on cheating done by the admins ever.

Innocent bank caught up in the storm


t'jelle bank and it's Bank Vault 1A were also banned today, as AidenAstrup, the owner of the long standing t'jelle bank, had hired Batterytime and Johny Gomez to be interns at t'jelle bank.

Johny Gomez was one of the participants in the scam ring, and was banned, and having been an intern at t'jelle, logged into t'jelle Bank Vault 1A as part of his internship duties. This led to the permaban of the vault, and t'jelle bank has lost thousands of gold in deposits due this occurrence. t'jelle however had nothing to do with the major scam ring, but was rather victimized by the scam ring participant, Johny Gomez.
