Breakdown of the PP Elections [And Aftermath]

Day 1,091, 11:46 Published in Japan Japan by Geno Garon

Greetings, gentle readers.

I'm sure by now you have all become aware that, once again, we are in Party President election season. More specifically, TODAY IS ELECTION DAY, so if you haven't voted, remember the Golden Voting Rule:

In all seriousness, here's what's going on for each of the Top5 parties (and if a non-Top5 would like recognition or advertising, please let me know)

IMPERIAL SUN PARTY

Starting off with the largest party (
as seems appropriate), ISP is ALSO one of our closest races in terms of percentage points. With a vote split of 13-12, Country President and incumbent Danyeo is just barely keeping notorious traitor and Phoenix supporter Sugawara Michizane out of office. Election in this party carries heavy weight, as the Country President candidate that ISP endorses has traditionally had a much easier race than other candidates, making the PP of ISP very influential in CP elections. However, if the points stay where they are, it's looking as though the party will be staying firmly (yet barely) in Black Dragon hands, err, claws.

WINNER: SUGAWARA MICHIZANE

GODZILLA PARTY

Our hotbed of spirits this election is the ever "popular" Godzilla party. Current PP Chysamyre Goru is not running in this election. Yonsil, the current crowd favorite with a vote of 2-1, is struggling to take the party as TheReverendSeanV comes fresh from a citizenship approval (
from yours truly) to contend for the 170 gold stockpile inside the party. Who will gain control of all that delicious advertising money? Whoever wins will essentially have the job of entertaining eJapan for the next month with those funds, so this is arguably the most important vote to the whole community. Good luck fellas, and let's see a good clean fight!

WINNER: THEREVERENDSEANV

VONGOLA FAMILY

Dubbed the new Tequila Fitness Party (
by me), Vongola Family has been broiled in controversy in our media recently. Long-time player, yet recent returner Whac is being pounded in the polls by incumbent PP Shimiken, at a margin of 6-2. Though spirited efforts were made to encourage voters of Whac's ability and activity, it was perhaps too little, too late, and unless some serious voters come out to the polls, at this halfway point, there's not much hope for the young hopeful.

WINNER: SHIMIKEN

UNITED LOLIES OF JAPAN

Everyone's favorite under-age girls are back. BUT THEY'RE BORING! Single candidate election. I WONDER WHAT WILL HAPPEN?!? NEXT!!!

WINNER: AKIRA KABURAGI

Democratic Party of Japan

I stand corrected. ULJ, your election is not boring. DPJ'S ELECTION IS BORING. Moreso because it had the opportunity to be interesting, but FAILS to be so, DPJ is currently not a win, it's not even a LANDSLIDE. It's a DIO-DAMNED RUNAWAY ELECTION, with incumbent Metic at a 5-0 position of pure superiority over Ghiyo, whom, if I remember correctly (and I will cross this out if I am not) part of the Indo PTO. I had such high hopes for this election, but SO FAR it's nothing but a snorefest. Let's hope those Indos are just holding their votes, or this is gonna get boring FAST. (Protip: it did 8-0)

Well, there you have it, folks. This publication is coming out JUST after the idway point in this election. I'll try to update this article in 4-6 hours, then again about 1 hour before the polls close. Let's see if any of these elections get REALLY FEISTY.

WINNER: METIC
