Sokfelé jár az ember lánya, sokat lát, hall tapasztal, de a lenti eset még edzett erepesként is alaposan meglepett. Ártatlan beszélgetésnek indult, de súlyos titkok derültek ki belőle... olyanok, amelyek megrengethetik Pakisztán, Románia és Magyarország viszonyát.
Egy titkos afférra derült fény, két prominens személyiség között, s arra, hogy e titkos kapcsolatnak még gyümölcse is támadt, akiből majdan a nemzetközi bonyodalmak - vagy megoldások jöhetnek létre.

I go everywhere and I see quite a lot on erep - but this case has even mad me sit up in the chair, and opened my eyes wide. It started as an innocent chat, but I got to know serious secrets from it - secrets that can upend the situation between Pakistan, Romania and Hungary.
A secret romance was uncovered, between two important persons of the countries - and this affair even has a fruit now, one that can either be a solution or a tangle in the relation of these nations.

A real swordfight is a rare occurence nowadays. Very few can handle a sword, especially not a sport-sword, but a real, old-fashioned one that has an edge on it. But I am an old-fashioned one, and swords do fascinate me - both in looks and in handling.
As for your last comment, I suggest checking a dictionary that contains idioms too.
