Boot Camp needs a new Quartermaster

Day 1,663, 15:10 Published in Ireland Ireland by Death and Taxes

Hello everyone. Over the last 5 months a quite wonderful thing has been happening in eIreland. A core group of players, moomoohead, Irasian and Lexone, backed up to the hilt by some generous donors, like Yddub, nogin the nog and the MoF Sweet Drinker, have instigated the Boot Camp.

During this time we have had over 20 recruits graduate at Commander Rank to other MU's. This represents ~8% of our fighting population, and these guys are here to stay, already making an impact as Party Leaders, Congressmen and integral parts of the government in financial and diplomatic channels.

In short, it's a great success and we want to see this continue on. I was asked by moomoohead to join Boot Camp as quartermaster and have spent the last few months working diligently to keep the show on the road. I did this for three reasons, the first was that it was a solemn duty to my commander, the second was that I wanted to prove that Libertad-IRE are as concerned about having a powerful Ireland as they are freeing oppressed states, and the third was that I wanted to put in a heavy lifting service for this country and improve my standing.

I hope to have achieved all three goals. Now, my time is at an end here at Boot Camp and I will be leaving at the end of the month. My last task is to recruit the next quartermaster to take over this role.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate should be completely trustworthy. You will be handling an inventory of about 2500 Q6 tanks, 10,000 Q5 food, a large wad of IEP as well as the necessary raw materials. Not a huge fortune, but you can understand that we are looking for players that have good reputations.

We need someone who can turn up every day and feed these recruits. That's everyday. You also need to be online on a regular basis should recruits have any queries or request additional supplies.

Lastly, the successful candidate needs to do a small amount of paperwork so that the commanders can keep track of provisions, supplies and recruit graduation. Nothing too time consuming. We would estimate about 45 minutes every day for all of these tasks

So where's the WIIFM? (What's in it for me?)

Well, first of all we need someone with about 20k storage, if you don't have it, we'll upgrade it for you for free, so obviously after your tour of duty you can retain this.

Secondly, you'll never have to worry about having enough food and Q6 tanks to fight with again. It's a natural benefit for being quartermaster (although I hasten to add I have always being a contributor rather than a user).

Thirdly, you will be working with some of the best commanders in Ireland as well as the great and the wise in our generous sponsors. This is very good if you want to build up good connections.

Fourthly, and most importantly, you will be nurturing the future leaders of Ireland, be it governmental or military. For this, the nation will thank and acknowledge your hard work and efforts.

There are no level requirements on this role. It may well suit previous boot camp recruits. Please PM me with any application. I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Ireland needs you! Answer the call!
