Greetings My Fellow Americans,
I'm at a loss with the latest requests from our government and the stories they sell us on how not controlling all of the eUSA is great for our people because we have constant training wars providing gold from medals to our players. I'm noticing the same handful of elite players getting all the medals due to their ability to switch divisions and constantly crush those who had hopes of earning a medal. Why can't we take back what is ours (and all great players used to fight strongly for in my day) to keep the eUSA in our rightful territory? No other nation should own a piece of our soil. It just makes us look weak. You want training wars...do it the way the eUSA did for YEARS and have them be in other regions or ONE of ours. Congrats to those in charge for getting back the large chunk of our territory but where are we going from here? What's the next plan? Why are we building our political sphere of influence to only allow the BIG DOGS to claim all the battle medals and enhance themselves while dividing our country. I can't help but feel we are falling into a "the other 99%" who will leave the eUSA/game if something isn't keeping them here. The eUSA needs to:
Take back all territory (no ridiculous excuses)...it's OUR COUNTRY
Do anything in their power to stop people from switching divisions to steal medals from younger/less powerful players who need to grow to help us all

In regards to big players switching divisions and stealing weaker players medals, I wrote an article about that too. It is not something that eUSA can control, it is the game mods who are implementing the Maverick Pack. It is not just an issue that plagues eUSA, but the whole eWorld. At the end of the day, eRepublik's model of player retention is absolutely horrible and they are the ones making the other 99% leave the game. I am a new player as well, less than a month old, and I know for a fact that I won't be spending any money on this game unless changes are made.

These "big dogs" are known for respecting BHs and not contesting them. So anyone is free to buy a maverick pack or do proper damage other way. Doing 33k with bazooka doesn't mean that you are going to get a medal what is given to the player with most damage done.
eUSA is YEARS behind in rank and farming when comparing to bigger countries like Croatia. Doing a single TW outside of our cores has been the reason for that. However we have the unique situation with our 50 regions which means that we are able to host multiple TWs without breaking a sweat.
We don't need to "take our regions back" because that would mean that we are exchanging highly profitable TW to few congress seats and huge risk of getting occupied again. Last time when we had all of our cores we got occupied and it took almost a year to get rid of our enemies.
Complaining about maverick pack and infantry kit is completely valid and should be directed to the admins of this game. Trying to prevent players from using them within our own community would be suicidical to our fighting power.
Sadly the current state of the game is that if you don't buy packs, you aren't a viable land fighter. Just focus on your air rank and one day your food fights will be relevant.
I hate Maverick pack & Infantry kit too because I believe they deviate the game from its natural evolution BUT trust me we should’t stop using these packs for many reasons. First of all there are not so many tanks in lower divisions so if someone decides to destroy our TW/RW we could not stop him, we would be powerless. Second let's suppose that our tanks decides to stop switching divisions and farming BH’s that doesnt means that tanks from foreign countries would do the same. So as zRTx said this could work only globaly if the admins decides some day to deactivate those packs and only then.
It’s too late for us to tank for our country but that doesn’t mean you should get boring and leave the game. Train, work and fight to increace your strength, your experience & your rank points. maybe some day all these older guys e-die.
Mostly aim at aircraft battles, there is our future and there we have to target.

Very sore point with many players but, as the commenters have said, it's a choice by the game admins... not players; if US soldiers refrained, enemies would take advantage.

Just friendly suggestion :
avoid land battle.
Focus on building air rank. If you are patient and diligent, you can catch up with others in several months. Fly barehanded, don't use banana weapon.
Farm Freedom Fighter medals instead of BH. It's not as profitable as BH but the CC prize can cover the traveling cost. Fight in the air round if possible.
Try to grab Resistance Hero medals, ez 5 gold on TW.
Connect with the right people, make new friends.
