Big and Small - Recruitment

In the eUK Political landscape we have big parties and small parties.Being an member of a small party myself,I thought I'd give some insight on how it's very different.

The first thing is recruitment, being a small political party is rather difficult, because it's almost impossible to grow. Most new members get bombarded by bigger parties and swallowed whole before we even get a chance to message them.On the other hand,i'm not blaming big parties. If I were in a big party.I'd do the same.

But then I probably hear you say, what about articles? Well yes, they can be good for recruitment. But they are very limited, because most of the people who view newspapers are already affiliated with a political party, and people affiliated with a political party very rarely change sides.

In the end,you just hope a citizen passes by your political plea and decides to join. But even then, your still a small party, while you may gain one member a week. The big parties gain 5-10 a day.You find yourself slowly falling down a political muddy hill.

But nevertheless,Us smaller parties must keep on,and I'm not just talking about my party.I mean all sub-top 5 parties.Because each party represents opinion, and our opinions should not just fade into obscurity....
