Bhane is Running for CP {Long and Boring}
Bhane
I will be running for the November 2013 term.
You may recall my previous CP term in November of 2011.
This article is to announce my cabinet and intentions for the term. This is all the boring, TL😉
R crap that most people don't like to read. For those people I have written a short and sweet version here.
Vice President: Sweet Drinker
Sweet has been integral to eIreland's recent positive momentum. I trust his pragmatic advice that focuses on utilizing game mechanics to the benefit of eIreland. Since I am not on IRC, he will be my proxy in the the irc world. I trust him implicitly to represent me, and eIreland's best interests in any setting.
Minister of Defense: Rikian1776
I'm trying to get new blood into the sysytem. Rikian has done great work with bootcamp, and has experience handling the supply lines. I'm looking forward to see him stepping up to the big chair.
Deputy Minister of Defense: Seanan
Seanan will be available to mentor Rikian as he dons the mantle of MoD. If we have national security concerns, it will be good to have him at the table.
The ministry of foreign affairs will consist of 2 ministers with different focuses this month.
MPP Minister of Foreign Affairs: Raven Anarcho
1The MPP MoFA will take care of contacting friendly nations for arranging MPPs. I want Raven to reach out to more foreign nations, even if we are not going to MPP with them. He will build eIrish relationships with nations around the eGlobe. Who knows what benefits we may gain in some obscure nation we never paid attention to before? This kind of outreach may bring us an opportunity we would have never known before.
Security Minister of Foreign Affairs: Brian Boru
Brian will do what he does best, and keep his eye on our enemies. Watching their actions/plans so we know how to react. Brian has strong ties and good repoire with our core allies. He can keep those solid, and keep us appraised of any events we need to know about, if they should need our help.
Minister of Finance: Appleman
Appleman has been a trusted banker for ages, and I see no reason to change that. I trust him to keep doing the same excellent job with the utmost integrity. I am hoping to find a trusted assistant to help Apple with financial analysis. If you are motivated, with great interest in economics, and if you have an aptitude with finance numbers, please PM me during the term.
Minister of Community: Cufaoil
Another new face in a leadership role this term. It's nice to see Cufaoil stepping up to the task of MoC. He will be coordinating the various community departments; Community, Education, Welfare, and Statistics.
Deputy MoC: Anthony Colby
His experience in the MoC role will be an asset to assisting Cufaoil. He will be available to mentor Cufaoil as needed.
Minister of Education: Binksy
eIreland university has most of these duties already covered. But maybe Binksy can help make citizens more aware of the university.
Minister of Welfare: Rafaia
I see no reason to change horses midstream. I hope Rafaia continues his work in this office.
Minister of Statistics: MrConway
Deputy Minister of Statistics: Moomoohead
These two will have their hands full this term. The great Stilpo is retiring from the game, and will no longer be administering the monthly surveys we have all grown accustomed to. The bureau of statistics is going to need to be very organized to reach the kind of quality we are used to with Stilpo.
Immigration Committee: Liam Tatlock, Cufaoil, and Mary Robinson
They have been doing fabulous, and thorough work. I hope this will continue uninterrupted.
Minister of Logistics: Ian E Coleman
The level of organization he brought to the office from the start of his first term has been nothing but impressive. Also, as outgoing CP, it would be good to have him at the table to fill me in on info about ongoing projects. Ian will be in charge of organizing the mass PMs and other such needs.
I also have two new ambassadors to appoint.
) Our official Irish-Canadian ambassador will be I-Bleed-Blue-93. He will be our liaison with one of our oldest allies. He will also continue his advisory role with our defense department.
) Since AD31 is returning to Greece I have asked him to be our ambassador to Greece. he will be a touch of green and orange amongst their blue ranks. They may be a TWO nation now, but they are an old friend to eIreland. Having a presence there may lead to opportunities in the future.
To all the people who have problems with my cabinet, all I can say is "stay tuned." I will be addressing those very issues in my next campaign article, and making an offer you should not refuse. I doubt you will be able to hold in your ire for the comment section here. But please find some comfort in the fact that your words will be heard.
Thank you for your time.
Be sure to vote on the 5th, participation is important.

Best of luck.
Cabinet way too bloated if you ask me though, it has p much every active player in the country in it.
you got to make people feel included so they don't run for CP themselves lol
It is a little bloated.
But, I made it a goal to get new faces into leadership roles this term. That means a lot of deputy ministers are needed this month. Most ministries are being handled by a mentor/apprentice team.
This won't be the norm, but I think it's for the best, this term.

"If you are motivated, with great interest in economics, and if you have an aptitude with finance numbers, please PM me during the term."
Or me...any time...
Good luck ole boy
Needs moar me 😛
Oh yeah... I knew I was forgetting something. I'll edit in the ambassador bit.
yay
good luck
utterly disappointing. seems you have become a sellout like all the rest. 🙁
Disagreeing with you isn't being a sellout
no but appointed scum after scum is. wow bhane you really proved yourself to be a zero on a contract. there goes the respect buddy.
If you weren't such a scumbag yourself then your opinion might actually matter.
scumbag care to elaborate. read my latest article btw [giggles]
Honestly IBhoy i worry abuot you.....
I remember once you were ablke to combine more then two sentences.
Now...you sound like someone who had a serious brain damage...
Stay tuned for my next article. I have edited a last paragraph about it into this article.
Good luck! o/
Bhane why you provoking true irish patriot with that traitor and thief Conway?
I thought you advocate peace between irish.
There's peace between everyone that matters. Yourself and krakken are irrelevant.
dear wretched boy...look up a little....to the left...previou article of Bhane.
Remember that agreement? You sign it with me!
You in the name of all Orcs! You sign your own whining against big bad Kurgan!
Irrelevant Kurgan! And yet you have an agreement with Kurgan!
Also dear wretched boy....when you call someone irrelevant for over a hundred times as you did....that someone is very much relevant....
Good Luck Bhane!
Your one of the few people on erepublik I would trust with my life
Conway
Jesus wept!
Have you learned nothing? Another month of ignoring government surveys by a large section of the population then.
My advice to you is the same as I gave to Ian... ditch him
Ian ignored me and paid the price with Conways useless surveys ignored by even Stilpo. Conway cannot be trusted with any confidential information.
Could you provide me a better survey than Conway? go ahead I'm waiting.
I can provide better survey then Conway.......random org....
Vik, if you produce a through, impartial survey on par with the quality we have come to expect from Silpo... I will make you Minister of stats, should i decide to run for a second term (if i even win the first one)
That's going to be my directive to Moo and Conway... pick up the baton where Stilpo left off. if you do it better than them, the job is yours.
Whether I can or cannot is irrelevant as it is not proposed I am the Minister
It is proposed Conway is so he is the person subject to scrutiny
I have added a paragraph at the end, WHS.
Ireland paid the price of a few people's poor sportsmanship. I wasn't phased by it.
Conway is a capable and competent player. The attitude toward him is childish.
some of us don't agree...I'll pass on to Stilpo that you consider him unsporting.

i will not support this cabinet, so your candidacy.
nothing wil change, always the same corrupted players, AD31's article was clear enough to see the truth behind the lies.
my last month in ireland,
o_O
what are u talking about?
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/a-big-truth-for-eireland--2333730/1/20
Last month in Ireland??? WTF!!
Good luck Bhane.
I'm sure you've thought out the cabinet thing a lot, so nothing to say there from me.
Would love to see a clear position on the eUK issue, and on ownership of original regions?
Thx.
Louth is a reasonable price for peace considering TWOs utter damage domination when they want to push any wall. Circumstances in the future may change, but for now I'm content to leave Louth in eUK possession for their fruit bonus.
The state will not support any rogue RWs there. If one does happen, just food fight for some free TP damage, and allow eUK to win. I will admit that I won't lament the loss of eUK shield, so feel free to knock the wall down to the shield marker.
So Louth ceded, for good? In exchange for what?
(I'm not being smart, I'm trying to get the management summary here...)
Retaking Louth in a RW will likely spark a NE from eUK to retake the region. As soon as the shield falls, there's no reason for the TWO multi-hordes to stop until we are wiped
Letting them have Louth will...
1) Save the rest of our regions (5/6 better than 0/6)
2) Secure us a dail (full 40 seats)
3) Protect our shield (not a small asset)
4) Keep our economy going (slowly)
5) Give us and the eBrits a tool for occasional TP bouts (with a side effect of damage to their shield)
6) Most importantly for us and the eUK... Peacetime between us, allows us both to fight for our friends, and spend some quality time fostering relationships with allies
7) Who knows... better relations with our neighbors could create positive opportunities in the future
Also... I have a long term plan for eIreland in half a year or so to be stronger than ever. This peace dovetails nicely into that plan. We'll have Louth back someday, when the skies are bit clearer, and warmer. For now we will endure.
" Protect our shield (not a small asset) " what f*cking for???
[removed]
Protect the shield because honestly we might not have 5/6 regions right now if not for it. So when we inevitably have to defend ourselves again in the future, we're going to want that huge advantage again.
Ok, thanks for the reply, that's clear enough.
Of course, it's not something I support or agree with, but I still wish you well. CP is a thankless job.
depends.....
Binksy is refreshment, beside that, nothing new.
Raven as a MoFA
Cufaoil MoC
Rikian MoD
Binksy MoE
AD31 ambassador
Not to mention Bhane as CP
But, I guess you're right... nothing new.
If you were expecting more ILP presence in the administration... so was I. Not everyone I asked to be a minister had the free time or the motivation to accept. I have a mailbox with more than half a dozen "declined" offers to be in the cabinet.
You will have to wait for my next article to see what I have to say in regards to the complaints about my cabinet. Stay tuned, I hope it will be worthwhile.
Bhane, I consider you more than competent for CP position, and I am glad to see ya there, you have always been my second best choice, just behind ILP candidates... Second, I didn't said that this cabinet is something negative, just that is same as always. Most of minister position could be held by new, fresh man or total noobs, but we'll always know who is on that positions in shadow. Just a few man holds a monopoly over whole eIreland and that is the biggest truth. Hypotheticaly, even if I or some other "political enemy" get elected on some position in cabinet I have impression that we would be sabotaged by irish power holders. Best regards, Danilo Garcia.
ILP aren't victims, Danilo, each individual decides whether they want to contribute to the Irish cause by their willingness to contribute. Most Ministers in current government have worked faithfully with ILP elected governments before, and would still, because - and heres the clincher - myself and other involved players do it for Ireland. That sabotage rhetoric is a build up of political lust, I'm of the opinion all parties should pool their votes to elect a ILP candidate because the impression given is that ILP counts its victories at elections, and not what they do with it, hence will only shimmer the feck down after an election victory.
Best regards,
Shadowy forces
I am with Seanan on this one. Of course Kurgan will say I am sucking up but you know...
A candidate from ILP gets elected CP I will work with them. I don't seriously care about party anyway. I have been MoC like 8 times and it has been under different parties. I do what I do for Ireland.
That is not to say others don't hold party first but that is down to individuals and not respective of any party as far as I can see.
I must admit that I like your style Seanan, it's kind of sharp and convincing. 😃 I respect both of you and your work as MoD. I've been always open for collaboration in order to help Ireland's prosperity, but I am provoked with arrogance and disrespect of certain ppl, by their trolling on congress threads, their constant reducing dail importance where they don't have a majority which makes a lot of players to leave eIreand, which further weakens eIreland.
