Preface

After doing a few Germany Today articles, I feel I am really writing a newspaper instead of just a few articles etc. I feel it is a proper newspaper, so I decided to make Better Tomorrow as a proper newspaper series which will have sections like NL News, Germany Today, and BKA in it. I will still write fun articles or that I will break up the series up like just BKA or just Germany Today if I do not have enough to write about, but when you see a Better Tomorrow in the title of my article, expect a complete and comprehensive newspaper with commentary.

1.0 Introductions (Dutch News Day 90😎

Dutch News series will be just that of Germany Today but the Dutch version. While I am aware that NL have something like that already in the form of Myers11's must read articles, but I aimed to be different from that of Myers11's great series in that I will cover media and non-media issues. Also like in Germany Today, I will add commentary and analysis to it which will act as a brief summary to the issues covered. Also Myers11 focus on the eWorld media as a while while Dutch News will only be focused on the NL media or issues that is Dutch related. I hope you enjoy it and have fun reading it.

1.1 Goodbyes

In the past few days, a lot of famous and well known eNLers left the Netherlands. Such peoples are Tim Veltkamp who left NL for Australia. He did not write a goodbye article but he asked me to write a goodbye article for him which you can read here. One of my best friends, Der Sterling, left the NL yesterday for the eUS. His reasons are that he found a lot of new eFriends in the eUS and he believes that this is the only way to really be active and to be in their community if he joins the eUS. He did not write any official farewells yet at this time. That means the MoFA team lacks a Vice MoFA now.

As you may have read already today, both Coolissport and Deviltje are leaving for the eUS. In Coolissport's article, he just said he was leaving and he thanked many NLers who played a huge part of his eLife. In Deviltje's article he did the same thing as Coolissport as he thanked many of his friends and NLers who made the game fun for him. The title of the article and the first few lines of the article explain the reason of his moving as he seeks a new challenge in eRep.

In a rather brief but more of a discussion provoking article by Tonie112 he asked the question why people are leaving our homeland. He did not answer the question but makes the reader think what are something that we the people as well as the government should address. Are the lack of wars/ battles or the hard employment/ cost of living are the causes people leaving or is it something else that are causing key players to move? Is eNL PHX's retirement home. dull and unchallenging etc?

1.2 On The Map

Der Sterling vote a great article in which he ask other CP to give a brief comment about their opinions of eNL. Make sure you read this article as it is fun and entertaining. Key comments to look for are that of Pakistan as it is really funny. Also Germany did not comment!!!! Letnix must be busy or something or he forgot lol. I hope this is not the last On the Map article and that despite his current eLocation, I hope he will continue his series.

1.3 State of the MoFA

The state of the MoFA in my opinion is a mess. Many ambassadors are either not active or have resigned. We have weeded out the people how wants to continue to be ambassador and those who does not. Also without a Vice, I will search for a Vice MoFA as soon as possible. Also if anymore is interested in helping out with the MoFA, please contact me.

Since with the lack of ambassadors, we are doing the regional system in which I ask the ambassador to focus on a overall region and only report key events and maintain some contact with key regions. The only exception to this is Western Europe which I think having more active ambassadors is more ideal for NL. I also want to welcome Mario Lawal to the ambassador teams as he is our newest ambassador on the team. He will be focused on eIreland at this time. Please welcome him when you have a chance.

I wish I could offer you more of an heads up but as of now this is the best I can offer at this time. Be assure that the MoFA is not inactive and is working on PHX or other NL things which either did or will make an impact to PHX and NL.

Related to the MoFA, make sure you read the message from the new Serbian Ambassador to the UNL as he wishes to improve relationships between our two nations. He also gave a list of the current eSerbian government.

2.0 Introductions:

With the party presidential elections behind us, eGermany wakes up to see the results. In the past few days, people are shouting PTO like there was no tomorrow. So and so PTO this, so and so tries to PTO that. There are much factions within eGermany warring against each other and it seems to be now that the eGermans enjoy fighting with themselves a lot more passionately and they fighter harder with themselves than that against the ePoles. PTOs left and right. PTOs in the comment box, titles of articles as well as themes of articles. eGerman politics is quiet anarchic in nature now and one party's hero the one day can become the villain the next.

There are also other issues we will cover in this edition of eGermany today from the presidential message to the people to a quiet novel idea of a gay pride party/ or a sub political group/culture in eGermany.

2.1 Habseligkeiten Goes English

The Habseligkeiten, the state newspaper that reports on eGerman Media, like Germany today without the commentary and state run will now offer English in their article. It provides day to day updates of the state of the nation. Based on my information from my friend Higter from eGermany, the translation is possible from a new player who is a RL English teacher in Germany. I do not know who she is but I thank her for her efforts and service to eGermany and non-RL Germans like myself who considers eGermany as a part of his eIdenity.

[President]The Word for Sunday

President Letnix today wrote an article about key issues that he was working on or issues that eGermans should know. First he discusses the Austrian and Slovenian situation. Overall it is to serve the best interest of the Austrian state in hopes to secure 126 000 ATS for the Austrian government from hostiles. Since this is not an eGerman issue, if you want to read more, please read that part of the article more.

He goes on to the issue of ePoland. It seems the president and the government was and still is working on a lasting peace efforts with the ePoles. Peace is indeed a hard issue for these two states for they shared such a long and bitter conflict. Poland who needs Brandenburg Berlin and despite RL or game mechanics considered Brandenburg Berlin as their own. Peace with Poland means that both governments must be willing to resolve their difference and the dealings with Berlin. Also I wonder how PHX will respond to this. One must also ask why the Poles want peace as they can easily take Berlin again and rebuild the fort when they had the chance when eGermany still have the MPP with eHungary. Regardless, this is an interesting change of events. Unlike the last ePolish eGerman talks in which ePoland demand unrealistic sums of gold for worthless eGerman lands while Berlin and SHH was not on the table, I bet this talks is more realistic and more a talk and not dictation.

The last issue I want to cover about Letnix's address to the nation is about the Gobba gold. Gobba state that he will not return the remaining amount until V2 when there is a concrete contracts system. The MoF in which I think WillRiker sent a ticket to the admins about it and it is being processed as the official status of the case is "under analysis." Note that this is only the MoF who I guess is WillRiker who wrote the ticket. I did not write any tickets nor will I. While like many of Gobba's moves which might be a dick move, does have sound reason/ validity in the background.

2.3 Gay Pride in eGerman Politcs ?

In a really short and rather inexperience article The player El Presidente suggested that eGerman gays should form some kind of community. It is a rather interesting which I think is really cool. While I hope that author have a more solid plans with logistics etc. However, by just presenting the idea out there I think it is a really cool and interesting concept that the eGermans should think about and entertain. Like the author stated, it does not have to be a whole political party dedicated to the eGay community but a sub-political culture. This idea much resembles that of the eUS gay community and the eUS Cockus (play on words).

While some comments are supportive, there are also some really rude and stupid comments. From we do not need a group of eGermans having gay cybersex to saying other stupid comments which you can read for yourselves.

2.4 OMG, Letnix Won!!!!!

Like in the past edition of Germany Today, the OMG party presidential election was heated. Letnix vs GeBe was to be an interesting run since a lot of people are not too happy with Letnix and that Letnix was an OMG outsider. However, Gebe while is an OMGer for all of his eLife, was not really well known. Despite both the party presidential candidates' manifestos reaching 60 votes +, Letnix got 83.19 percent of the votes.

What does this mean? OMG is accused many time of the party of 2 clickers. I think it is one of the most stupid comments anyone can make. Are you saying 638 people are all 2 clickers? To marginalize such a huge population is foolish and shows your own inexperience. While they might not be active in the media or forums etc, a lot of them do read the media etc and are not as oblivious as a lot of other parties believe they are. Therefore, while some are 2 clickers, I believe and know a good amount of them are not 2 clickers. Why am I talking about the members of the OMG while it is about Letnix's victory? Letnix especially after the eSK MPP affair got a lot of political heat from the PPD and SPeD/KPeD. The romance from these groups are over. Letnix bashing especially by more radical members are more and more common. Despite this, most of the heat is from them and them alone and not from that of the OMG members or the political center. Also, this begs the question that most of GeBe's votes for this manifesto are that of Letnix new rivals? Maybe, some of GeBe's article votes are incorrectly inflated by the PPD and SPeD/KPeD group making it hard to predict the outcome as it is now. A candidate with 60+ votes on the article should not just get 19 votes. It just does not make sense.

To the critics of President Letnix, this should be a good and clear indicator that there are a good amount of people that does not agree with your ideas and that loud does not mean right. There have been many shouting and bashing etc, but 83.19 of the OMG electorate disagree with your Letnix bashing etc. While I disagree, but even if OMG are all 2 clickers, their votes does not mean it is less than that of my vote etc and therefore, to demean their vote as ignorance or something lesser is just arrogant and hubris on your part. It still takes effort to win the vote even that of the 2 clickers.

2.5 PTO Attempt in PPD?

PPD is indeed is in a state of anarchy. There was two camps in the PPD. That of the Letnix and that of the more radical like Yasmin and King Robert Baratheon. With Letnix departure and divorce with the PPD, many on the side of Letnix lost much of their voice. While true bernhardms, is a new member of PPD, but overall it was not a PTO attempt, but the current PPD leadership (more radical voice of PPD) wanting to keep their power and control of the party and they write articles like this to help them secure their candidate.

The result was rather close for a party presidential election with Lenfant getting 123 votes while bernhardms got 98 votes. Looking at bernhardms's profile page, he quit the PPD party and at the time of writing this section of the article, he is an independent.

2.6 Other Party Elections

The other parties (I will not cover the small parties that are not in the top 5) went smoothly without too much drama etc. In the SPeD, Stresemann vote with a 52 percent majority. In the KPeD Onkel Dok vote the election with 57 percent of the vote. The other candidate in the KPeD, DeathmanRSF was accused of being a PTOer as well, but he/she never got the same amount of drama and controversy of that of bernhardms in the PPD election. DeathmanRSF got 40 percent of the votes in the KPeD election which is not a small sum of votes. The Steinmetze election went smoothly with no drama at all. Their official candidate Rotin got 69 percent of the votes.

3.0 Final Remarks

In the Netherlands, a few key players departs eNL for a different eNation. This raise concern for the Netherlands for is this a real problem that we are facing now? Are the lack of wars and other social issues that are causing our brothers to go somewhere else. Also in the Netherlands, the MoFA needs more staff from the Vice MoFA to more ambassadors/ people that can be an expert of a region.

Germany is in a state of political anarchy during the PP election as the words PTO is used willy nilly. There are might fighting in the political landscape of the parties in Germany. Struggles in the PPD and the KPeD. While overall I feel it is more if an internal party thing than a real PTO, the factions are at war it does not seem to be toning down. The OMG election demonstrated that the loud critics of Letnix are that of the OMG outsiders as OMG does not share the same concerns. So loud ≠ right. I know this will not stop the loud people but this is a great sign of loud ≠ right.

President Letnix's article is really interesting especially with the talks with Poland, which could be a huge departure from past policy. While it is far from being a signed done deal, but this is an interesting move for the Letnix administration for treading on a new direction which can provide a very interesting result for eGermany or Western Europe itself. This issue regardless if you are German, NLer or French etc. Whatever is decided here can have a huge impact for EDEN, PHX, and Western Europe as a whole.

Last I want to thank you for reading this newspaper and I hope you enjoyed the first official full Better Tomorrow article as well as the Dutch News Series. Please vote, sub and leave a comment if you enjoyed reading this article. Many thanks once again and I wish you my best.
