Betray them all, stay true to yourself (c) FAS

Day 2,087, 03:40 Published in Serbia Ukraine by uaporschee

Hello, everyone. We would like to present you an article about our Military Unit named First Anime Squad (FAS).
Our MU is well-known to some people, but our goal is - to familiarize other residents of eRepublik with us. So today one of MU founders, Maestro, will provide us a bit of help.

1. Hi, Maestro! Tell us about the creation of FAS

It all started three years ago. At first Ukraine Anime Party was created. It acted as a kick-start towards a bigger politics for a newbies. Alas, this party hadn't reached the top 5, though it was newbie-friendly. After introduction of V2 there were lots of players disappointed with innovations, so for sake of encouraging them to stay in the game, MU was created, based on Anime Party. Thus on 1006th day of eWorld FAS was created.

2. What is the difference between FAS and other MUs?

FAS is not just a MU, it's a lifestyle. In fact each military unit has its designation.
Some MUs designation is to serve their country, others are just someone's private armies.
FAS serves to itself. We are mercenaries and our motto is "betray them all, stay true to yourself". Politicians are coming and going, countries are experiencing their peaks and their fadeaways, but FAS will stay forever.

3. How FAS relates to politics?

FAS is apolitical. Some members of FAS used to be country presidents, and we are sure that there will be people like that, but FAS is not someone's subordinate. Each member is free to perform his own political game.

4. FAS is Ukrainian military unit, but the majority of its members are eSerbia citizens, how so?

Well, at first we wanted to make a Spanish MU, but it didn't worked out. We moved to eSerbia not because of bonuses. We are there for the sake of our good friends from party “Ujedinjena eSrbija”.
At the moment there is quite difficult political situation in eUkraine. Many players are ashamed of their country because of it, and they don't want to have anything to do with it as long as the situation stays the same.

5. What do you mean "we are mercenaries"?

It means we help other countries to win battle rounds or even the whole campaigns, and for that we are getting our payment in gold and currency. We're trying not to fight against eUkraine and eSerbia, but, as stated earlier - everyone is free to play as he\she desires and no one is criticized because of that.

6. Are there foreign players in FAS, and what is the attitude towards them?

There was a time when FAS had a lot of foreign players. Back then we went to a new, international level. MU became an international one, with fighters from different parts of eWorld in its ranks. But because of various reasons part of our commanders turned on two-click mode or left the game, and finding contracts and supplies became harder, so many foreign fighters left us to roam freely.
At the moment there are couple of foreigners in our ranks. Unfortunately, they are not quite active. But sometimes foreign players visit our chat and we have lots of fun communicating with them.

7. FAS members wear anime-related avatars, so love for anime is compulsory for a FAS fighter?

🙂 Yep, we like anime and the name of MU says it as well, but we don't force anyone to wear an anime-related avatar)

8. What plans FAS have in the future?

FAS will continue its development. We are teaching people to think for themselves and to make money. As long as players like that still exist in the eWorld - FAS will be alive and kicking.

9. Is there some programs for helping young players grow and eLive in FAS?

Our MU is not an academy, actually, and the majority of FAS members are high level players. Of course there are some low-level players in our ranks, but instead of patronizing them too much we just guide them to the right path, and after that everything are in their hands. So with us they become seasoned players 😉
Usually there are experienced players that join our ranks. But there are exceptions for every rule, right?
