I'm a little late to the jump, because of finals but looks like I have started a bit of hoopla recently. So let me attempt to settle some things.
I read the articles posted by Benn and Shafer, and really got a kick out of a few comments.
On treasonous acts, I did message the French President with the link. That was it. No secret planning of overthrowing Benn or me explaining patterns or some crap like that. One message(Actually the only message sent to a Frenchman my entire eRep lifespan). The only reason he was contacted was to bring attention from both sides of the war. I only wanted to hear talk from between the two sides, since both sides seem to be pretty thick headed. As for Roby, I talk to Roby often, but we only talk of party updates and RL stuff. He has nothing to do with this. Hungarians, no clue where they came from.
You mention sending messages to soldiers, but really I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't even know how you are trying to spin that lie. I mentioned in the article that we stand by our soldiers, and I did not say anywhere in the article to stop listening to command. Do I want to see our troops stop fighting. Yes.
I could give a sh*t what you call me, but what pisses me off is when you declare the USWP traitors. Some serious bold bullsh*t. You are calling soldiers, who fought for this nation, traitors. Low, really low.
For the Chinese bribe, Who was the first one to report to congress that I was bribed? Me.
Congress MPP Section Not sure if everyone can view the congress section, but shortly after posting in our congress section, I went to the eUSA section. I asked what was going on, since MPP's seem to pop out of no where and I may have missed or yet seen negotiations.
And on a final note, I find it hilarious that you use our party as scapegoat for your own failures in this war. Lower amounts of soldiers is due to the fact that they can't afford the current weapons prices since they aren't being paid anymore. You are hindering the success of this war. Not me. Be honest with yourself. We rushed the entrance and were disorganized. No reason to drop +50k damage on the first battle. The Spanish and Swedes are much better organized.
If we were bargaining regions with France for Swiss regions. I could get behind that, but the war has turned into an imperialistic venture. I'm still waiting to see if we send soldiers into the Swiss battle zones to help with their independence.
I care for this nation and want to see the attention be put towards fixing it, rather than letting it get worse. I don't support PEACE, but I would like to see some between the two of us. Also don't sit here and blame me for crumbling talks between you and the French. From the ideas I see on the eUSA forums, I'm not fond of the direction that has been suggested.
So in the end, you stoop to a new low and people actually bite at it. I'm fairly surprised to see some comments from certain people in the other articles, but really I don't care. Freedom of speech.

Why do you USWP people keep bringing up freedom of speech? No ones telling you that you cant say anything. They're just saying that what ever you did or said was traitorous.

No one in my platoon has been denied their weekly pay. They continue to fight every chance they get with and without weapons and several have told me they'd remain loyal to the eArmy even without pay.
To call an article criticizing war treason is ridiculous.
Benn is comparing Martin Sunter's actions (plans to overthrow the government by starting a resistance war IN the United States) to our anti-war article. Do you realize how absurd that is? We're talking about freedom of speech because we see the correlation. If eUSA believes that promoting an anti-war article is treason, I shudder to think what else we'll soon label as treason.
Oh, Im also glad to see people who voted for the war or supported it in the beginning turning on it now calling it imperialistic after we lost a few battles.
Freedom of speech? More like mini dictatorship trying to control the zombie masses. Why do I keep getting messages from the USWP leadership telling me to speak out against the government? That doesn't seem like you are in favor of freedom of speech or think your party members are very bright, just people for you to control.
Cj, I doubt anyone on the eRep site has sent you a PM. Now, if you have a USWP forum account we have always sent out PMs to all registered forum members. I have seen all of them and none of them tell you to speak out against the government. They send out article links to ALL the articles on treason. We may say defend the party in the articles against us, but we also say defend in the articles supporting us.
We are just providing a way to get important articles to people who have CHOSEN to be on the forums. If you don't want to get the Forum PMs, you can have your account removed if it bothers you that much.
Getting party PMs doesn't annoy me, getting PMs telling me to act does. It's more than bringing an article to public eye, it's bringing the article to public eye and telling me how to respond. If I was a zombie like the majority of your party it might've worked.
If you feel that the PMs really told you that you HAD to do something 'or else,' then you are taking them wrong. They all say something along the lines of 'Vote up and defend USWP.' We don't force anyone to do anything, it is just how we have always got import things out on the forums. It is a choice to be on the forums. If you don't like part of it, you are always free to leave.

Sounds like an order to me. I'd probably word it "Here's an article, read and comment please". But then again I have an active party that can think for themselves.

It isn't vote up and defend or we kick you out... It is just a request. We have no way to enforce it or check it. It is just a method to get people involved. Nothing is being forced on them and they are free to do as they please.

Rocco there's a difference between telling someone to vote for an article (although I have never been contacted for votes on behalf of the nationalist party, nor did I know we did this) and saying DEFEND THE USWP!
Cj=clueless... my eight year old knows the difference between party pride/rhetoric and a direct order with consequences for non-compliance. Sheesh.... . Sounds like an order... better follow it sheep... God forbid you think for yourself with such dynamic PRESSURE put upon you -- my Lord, a PM, no less!!! THE HORROR!
@Cj: You seem to forget that there is nothing that the party could do to you if you didn't vote an article. It's not like they're going to find you and make you pay them or something, the messages asked you to vote. I've never once felt forced to vote for an article, if I had felt that way I would have left the party and made sure I wrote tons of articles telling everyone about it.
I think Rocco makes some good points. Most of what I've read by William Shafer and Benn Dover has been fabricated. As a member of the USWP I've never been told to A) Speak out against the government or Benn, 😎 Stop fighting in the war and/or tell others to stop fighting, C) Encourage or work with members of ANY other nation, Peace or Atlantis, or D) Do anything else to hurt America or it's war effort.
To me it seems pretty clear that Benn was getting nervous about his job security. He knew the war was going badly, he knew that it was being mismanaged, he knew that he wasn't going to pay soldiers anymore or supply them with weapons and so he was scared that he would be impeached at some point. Of course the war is going to go badly when you don't give the soldiers weapons or money to buy weapons, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Benn decided to jump on the bandwagon and attack the USWP because it's the popular thing to do and this way, if someone tries to impeach him, he can just say that they're traitors. It's a desperate attempt to save himself and the political power he has, and he doesn't care if the facts back him up or not, as long as it works. I'm ashamed of Benn, and ashamed to have voted for him.
Once again I'll say it, if anyone has any real evidence that the USWP was trying to make America lose the war then send it to me. If it's the real deal then I'll leave the USWP and join the chorus calling them traitor, otherwise I'll see this as what it seems to be, an effort by Benn to criminalize and marginalize any opposition.
I guess we just figured our membership would want to defend ourselves, since everyone seems to think the USWP is this giant, one minded organism. your all saying that the USWP committed treason. Your generalizing all 800 members. They'll want to defend themselves.
And we aren't ORDERING anyone to do anything. How the hell would we enforce that?

You were not the only one to receive Gold from China. I have received a list of quite a few people that have received gold from Balash. That list includes leaders from Canada, Norway, Romania, Sweden, UK, and the US.
I am waiting verification from Balash that the list is factual before posting it. I sent him a message. He has yet to deny it.
I even sent one of the people on the list a message asking if I could get in on the Gold. Not that I would accept it but it would be a way of verification. (I also sent a CC of that message to others to have witnesses of my attempt.)
Why is it that I never know anything about the USWP PP? As far as I knew, Peregrine was still the PP.

Really? The Nationalist party is made up from among the most active members in eUS society and members of all different party. The USWP however is made up of a party known for being two clickers that vote the party line. The nationalist party is made up of people that want to see America become it's very best and actively work for it, often times disagreeing with how that should happen. The USWP is made up of people that want to see the best possible America and blindly vote for their active leaders with no real idea about what the issues are and that blindly follow their party leadership.
Avoiding reading the comments. I do have to say this on Freedom of speech.
Noone said you couldn't say the things you said, and please remember that Freedom of Speech works both ways. If you are free to say whatever you wish in attempt to undermine the authority of the government and the US Army, then we are free to say it is low, deceitful, traitorous, and the like.
Guys, we must secure some sort of victory or watch PEACE become dominant and be invaded ourselves.

It is technically treason for someone other than the President or an appointed representative of the President to negotiate with the enemy. Which seems to be what you have done. I generally disagree with Benn, but he seems to have called a spade a spade here.

@Justinious: I'm not going to get in an arguement about what actually happened with the USWP, mostly because I don't actually know, the same way most people don't actually know. I just wanted to point out that when you say that freedom of speach goes both ways and therefore you can call the USWP traitors, you're not entirely right. If you write something that you know is false it's libel, which is not protected by freedom of speach laws. Therefore, if Benn, William Shafer, or anyone else writing articles about how the USWP is filled with traitors knows that these statements are false, and I suspect that at least some of them do know that, then they are committing libel.

It seems the people most involved with this will not be happy until we the people stand up and tell them to shut the F**K up already. I dont care what the workers party did or did not do, I looked over there party befor I picked one for myself and desided they where not for me big or not. Ive also seen someone say something about them being the core of our country and I disagree with that also because they only represent 1/10 of the country as far as I can tell, they may run congress and that really brings up some questions about this war and who is to blame. BUT..... non the less Iam an American and i will support my presadent wether i agree compleatly with him or not because I/we gave him the job and to not support him now does not say that he is wrong or a lier or a idiot or what ever some may think. The presadent is a direct reflection of the people, if you do not like the way he does things then dont give him the job simple as that. All this treason stuff is BS BTW. You can say what ever the hell you want to and unless you are actually trying to undermine our national security you can talk to who ever you want to also for all I care. Hell I think I might contact the french guy. BTW has anyone asked the soldiers how they feel about this war or is this just some BS created by someone with an agenda and nothing better to do. I can not afford weapons and its hard to try and get my health up while trying to save for a house, now that is a real problem. You can be as treasonus as you want to as long as my country can stand on its own and keep the people safe despite you and your actions as well as myself haveing food to eat and a roof over my head I dont really care.
Inwegen (from near top): Very shortly after Rocco posted his orginal article that started all this crap I got a shout from him in which he ORDERED all USWP members to read and vote. Considering that he's sent friendship requests to so many in the USWP (326 friends much?), your claims that no one ordered USWP members to support the party line are blatantly false. The article itself is free speech, but that shout was dictatorship. I don't follow dictators or men who turn on their own government.

I love how this lie about troops not being supplied with weapons keeps cropping up. So far I have been provided with weapons EVERY time I have requested them with the exception of 2nd Limo when supplies were stopped in an effort to end the fighting there. Troops and and Platoon leaders not knowing where to request supplies (Even though the are being told in orders and newspapers) is not the same as being refused supplies.
And a note on pay: My platoon has been paid up until this week. Only problem is that pay would allow you to buy one weapon a week. And with lessened inventories you can't really stockpile them.
Please stop spreading lies about the military.
