Being Prepared

Day 600, 18:25 Published in Canada Serbia by Coda

Hello eCanada!

As most of you have read about there is a threat on Canada's safety. Whether or not those are the true intentions of the Hungarians/United Kingdom Canada is still going to remain a vigilant force and will be on guard for both her own defense, and the defense of her allies.

I am not going to make this article too long I just wanted to give eCanadians some advice in the upcoming days.

Staying Informed...
Its a good idea to keep up to date with information. Not always will the top voted articles be the most accurate source of information. The best way to gather information about wars, or other events in the country is to subscribe to articles that focus on Canada. Some of the news papers you may want to subscribe to during this possible time of war are below.

First of all you should subscribe to these papers:
Canadian Ministry of Defense
President Jacobi
General Coda (me)
Minister of Communication (don't mind all the crazy pictures)
and just for fun, someone who is good at gathering information and publicizing it in a slightly humorous fashion Plugson (this one is more for fun)

Stocking up...
Those news papers will help you keep informed of what is happening in Canada. Also as the Ministry of Communication has released everyone should be stocking up on weapons and supplies in case of attack. Currently guns are around 5-6 CAD each, during war times this will jump up to possibly around 8-10 CAD depending on the supply levels.

Defense...
You may have to move residence to a Q5 hospital region, both Alberta and Ontario are good areas to live in because of their hospitals.

Joining the Army...
Even though you own a company, or do not wish to leave Canada any time soon, you may enlist in the Canadian Armed Forces - Reserves this way you can remain in Canada at all times and be the last defensive measure against attacking opponents.

To join the Reserve forces you must sign up on our Official Forums you can then apply for the reserves by heading to the CAF Training Center.

How to fight...
First find a region with a Q5 hospital and move there if you can. If you live in Ontario or are able to move there, that would be probably a good place to start! You need to have AT LEAST 40 health to fight.

Fighting bare fisted (no weapons) will still get you experience and you will do some damage, how ever with the use of a Q1 weapon (the rest are really expensive) you will do more damage. Right now the market is pretty good 5-6 CAD is a really good buy so try to buy some before the prices go up (just go to the market screen).

If you are living in a Q5 hospital region or will move there for the battle then all you have to do is press the fight button until you are at around 40 wellness (in other provinces, only fight for as many times as your hospital can heal such as fighting 4 times and healing with the use of the Q4 hospital).

After you have fought you can use the hospital, as I said I encourage you to fight from a Q5 hopsital region so you may get the full wellness benefits. If you fight to 40-50 health you can then use the hospital and heal back up to 90-100 wellness. You can heal only ONCE per day. Do not let your health fall below 90 so you can fight the next day.

Now that you've learned the basics, you are well on your way to being prepared for war. We will do our best to keep you informed as situations change or as things progress.

"Two things

Thanks to the selling of the Ottawa Guardian, and a generous donation by No Idea (above poster actually), I can finance weapons and moving to all new citizens

If you are under level 10 and genuinely have no money, PM me if:
a) You are not in Alberta or Ontario, and have no money for tickets, I will give you one
b) you have no weapons, I will give you one"
