Day 1,621, 16:48 Published in USA USA by Bockson

After 11 months of serving in the USAF Special Forces (since May/June 2010) and 3 months serving as its CO, I decided to call it a day. Today I'm resigning as the Commanding Officer of the Special Forces.

I was proud to hold that position for almost 3 months. I earned every single promotion with my hard work and I must admit that I had really great people around me to work with.

We have enough quality officers who could step up and deserve to be promoted after showing remarkable skills, commitment and having a couple of months of service under their belt.

My successor will be current XO, Rainy Sunday. She's an experienced officer with dedication and I think she is the right replacement for me.

It was really hard to decide who to promote to the Executive Officer spot, but we finally made a decision and promoted Peter_Lankton (shreddi).

There'll also be promotions on lower levels of the command structure but you'll be informed about that on the forums and IRC.

I'd like to thank all the former CO/XO's and other officers for their hard work in Special Forces, as well as to the current officers who are doing a great job on qm-ing and in other segments and of course our soldiers. We preserved The Special Forcess integrity and efficiency. We made it even bigger and stronger, and I hope it will stay a prosperous and stable military unit.

I'll stay in USAF SF for now as a retired General, same as previous CO's. Thank you for everything soldiers and continue the good work!
