Oh great,yet ANOTHER congressional platform. Yes, it is a necessary evil.

I'd like to apologize to my subscribers, I try to have a fun paper and usually avoid "srsbsns",there's a billion srsbsns papers and I do not intend to make many........With that being said......



Yep, you read that correctly, I have been chosen to represent the Federalist Party in the upcoming Congress election for Maine. I urge all Federalist members, and everyone else to join in the fun here in the Fed forums and at #fedpartychat on IRC.As well as the eUS forums here.

Taxes

Oh the great tax debate. Last term Congress "accidentally" tried to ram a new tax system through, that did not go through. Sydiot came up with an excellent compromise act, that did go through. I do not agree with it 100% but it was called the "compromise Act" for a reason, it was a plan that both major sides could live with and seems to be doing it's job, it should last us until V2.

All that being said, if the debate does come up again my stance will be NO NEW TAXES, 23% INCOME seems to be working. Proponents will say its only 2% more, I say its 2% more ON TOP of a already 23% tax, with that logic we can go up "only 2% more" every month and be at max tax before you can say Dan Wang is UNSTOPPABLE. IMPORT tax, yes I am/was a GM and fought for an increase in IMPORT taxes, as much as I could being non-congress at the time. I saw first hand the attitude of the people when I was forced to lower,lower,lower,lower wages just to go see a gun from a top offer company that I couldn't even pronounce. VAT seems to be nice where it is at and I really do not want to see it change, a decent VAT protects us from "market raids", which are never good.



Military Militias Alliances

As you can see by my P awesome avatar, I am a soldier. I see absolutely no reason for any type of budget cuts to the Military (id like to see them get more money if at all possibly).The money is there, we are doing damage. If it's not broke, don't fix it. I feel the Military and Militias are our BEST SOURCE for player retention, therefore they should be one of our highest priorities. The Military,Eagles,EZCO, and Seals have done GREAT things for this country and id like to see the trend continue and expand.

Due to the recent "strains" between EDEN and the US its hard to take an "official" stance. I will not voice a stance until I see firsthand what's what. I will not sit here and blow smoke up possible voters asses screaming Brolliance this and EDEN that. This situation could possibly be one of the biggest decisions we, as a nation, have to make in the near future. It just as easily could blow-over
by the time this is finished.

I find it amazing that these two are now used in the same sentence, AND it is commonplace!!! This is a game, and I understand the need for fun, but this is definitely NOT the way to go about it. For me ONLY Military returns will be getting citizenship's returned and that is AFTER all the in-place
steps are taken.

Hospitals

Don't you hate it when this happens and there's no hospital nearby?
So do I, so do what I did.
MOVE TO KARNATAKA, FLORIDA, OR CALIFORNIA!!!!
That's right, as of now, no new hospitals, sorry. (if you are newer and would like to know why just ask, I'll be more then happy to give you the rundown on this).

As a final note, this is a very important election. ALOT of good, experienced congressman left. They need to be replaced with good guys that want to see America become what it was, and is starting to lose, due to petty arguments and misunderstandings......EPIC GREATNESS. If you don't
agree with me and my platform,thats fine,alot of people wont. But please do some research before voting.Read platforms, ask questions. Consider hard moving to vote, whilst your vote may be 1 out of 1000 in Florida, it will be around 1 out of 7 in a wasteland state (carries alot more
weight , for the same amount of congressional power huh)
