BANHAMMER

Day 563, 17:56 Published in Hungary Hungary by Quicksilver

If banning continues in this vein, then the rules must be changed, for right now they say that fredom of speech is absolute, except for certain offences... but it is not true any more.

Instead of it the rules should say that eRepublik has NO FREEDOM OF SPEECH because everything that one says can be put into one of the loose categories that rules say to be banned, deleted, warned and that moderators think that anything that is reported should be banned or deleted because it was reported. The last few days showed that practically anything is/was/can be considered as an insult or spam, or if neither then it is 7.1 (like this one) and so hundred(s) of citizens were banned, hundreds of articles were deleted, and probably several thousands of comments.

And so freedom of speech is nonexistent in eRepublik, no matter what rules say.

And it is partly our, the player's fault, because we try to fight each other with reports for anything that we think can worth a ban for the others - and admins' for they think that anything that is reported must be dealt with, while 90 % of it is just rubbish and should be forwarded to a rubbish bin, not acted upon, warning and banning people.

I intentionally wrote this article that way. I reported myself on a ticket straight away. I was not banned, I know perfectly well why.
