Ehrlich gesagt habe ich vor einigen Tagen nicht damit gerechnet, zur CP-Wahl anzutreten. Als ich dann jedoch die Kandidatenliste sah, herrschte Ernüchterung. Viele Spaßkandidaten – wenig Erfahrung. So stellte ich mich zunächst auch just 4 fun auf. Kurze Zeit später kamen dann jedoch schon die ersten IRC-Queries herein, die die Seriosität meiner Kandidatur zu erforschen suchten. Ich bekam viel Zuspruch und mein Interesse wurde geweckt. Schätzt euch glücklich, denn aus diesem Grund könnt ihr jetzt diesen Artikel lesen, was bedeutet, dass ich für das Amt des Präsidenten am 5. diesen Monats rennen werde!



Zunächst kurz zu mir: Die meisten werden mich kennen, ich bin aktueller Aussenminister und amtierender Bundestagspräsident. Zudem bin ich im Board of Command der Bad Company vertreten und bestimme so auch das militärische Geschehen in Germark mit.

Lest im Folgenden meine Pläne für die nächste Amtsperiode.



Innenpolitik

Grundsätzlich gibt es in Germark derzeit keine PTO-Gefahr, Job des Innenministeriums wird also vornehmlich das genaue Überwachen der Einbürgerungen sein, was ich natürlich penibel überprüfen werde. Da ich selbst meine ersten Regierungserfahrungen in diesem Ministerium machte, liegt es mir besonders am Herzen und ich weiss diese (oft unscheinbare) Arbeit sehr zu schätzen.
Aus dänischer Sicht gilt es dabei wie immer zu beachten, dass ein dänischer Kongress auf jeden Fall zu verhindern ist, da sonst die Möglichkeit besteht, dass weitere PTOler eingebürgert werden können. Ansonsten ist es mir sehr wichtig, dass unsere Union von jedem germarkischen Bürger akzeptiert wird, auch ich werde ein Ministry of Danish Affairs in meinem Kabinett haben, um den direkten Kontakt aufrechtzuerhalten.



Aussenpolitik

TERRA ist so gut wie am Ende. Man muss sich jetzt Lösungen für die Zukunft überlegen, doch so viele Alternativen gibt es nicht. Die erste wäre ein EDEN-Beitritt, die zweite ein Schritt in die Neutralität, welcher uns vielleicht in eine bessere Verhandlungsposition mit Polen bringt. Schon Ende letzten Monats gab es Meetings zur Zukunft von Terra, einzig Zypern hatte sich öffentlich etwas genauer dazu geäussert und eben diese zwei Möglichkeiten aufgezeigt. Die anderen Terra-Mitglieder sind ebenfalls noch unentschlossen, manche favorisieren den EDEN-Beitritt, andere sprechen sich für die Neutralität aus, diese Gespräche müssen auf jeden Fall in der nächsten Amtszeit weitergeführt werden.
Auch wenn es unwahrscheinlich ist, dass es eine Gesamt-Entscheidung aller ehemaligen Terra-Länder geben wird, verbindet uns doch eine lange Mitgliedschaft in derselben Allianz, welche bis zum Ausstieg von Brasilien und der USA auch sehr gut organisiert war. Deshalb respektiere ich die möglichen Entscheidungen der anderen Mitglieder und wir werden versuchen, gemeinsam die besten Lösungen für unsere Zukunft zu finden.
Klar ist aber auch, dass, egal für welche Alternative wir uns letztendlich entscheiden, die Freundschaft zu langjährigen Allies aufrechterhalten wird. Auch wenn man nicht in derselben Allianz ist, können durch MPPs weiterhin Bündnisse geschlossen werden, was eine weitere Zusammenarbeit ermöglicht.



Verteidigungspolitik

Zunächst zur Bundeswehr: Die aktuelle BW-Führung macht ihre Sache recht gut, eine weitere BW-Reform wird nicht nötig sein. Die BW ist in den letzten Monaten wieder aktiver geworden und vor allem die Einbeziehung der Captains ist eine Sache, die ich sehr begrüße. Ein staatlicher Ausbau der Selbstversorgung ist realistisch gesehen allerdings nicht möglich, da zu teuer. So wird sich die Bundeswehr weiterhin vor allem als Auffangbecken der Neulinge darstellen, was nicht negativ gesehen werden darf. Eine aktive Bundeswehr kann so dazu beitragen, dass viele neue Spieler eRepublik nicht gleich wieder den Rücken kehren und stattdessen ein aktiver Part unserer Union werden.
Allgemeines: Die Common Hits werden, ähnlich wie in den letzten Amtszeiten, weitergeführt werden. Ich denke, dass sie mittlerweile ein wesentlicher Bestandteil unseres germarkischen eLebens geworden sind, was auch an der guten Arbeit der MoD-Teams liegt. Sie bringen Spaß und gleichzeitig die Community enger zusammen. Zudem sind sie der Indikator für die Auszahlung der MU-Gelder, was einen attraktiven Wettkampf der Einheiten untereinander nach sich zieht. Ob dabei eine staatliche Einheit wie das GFG noch Sinn macht, wird man sehen.



Finanzpolitik

Unsere derzeitige Finanzsituation ist eher bescheiden, die Steuereinnahmen sind zudem in den letzten Tagen noch einmal gefallen. Trotzdem werde ich versuchen, eine regelmässige MU-Förderung zu gewährleisten. In welchem Maße dies dann geschieht, wird man noch beraten müssen. Es gibt verschiedene Einsparmöglichkeiten. Man könnte zunächst die MU-Förderung reduzieren, eine andere Möglichkeit wäre, dass man die MUs selbst die Tanks für den CMH stellen lässt und dafür ein wenig mehr MU-Förderungsgeld ausgibt. Da durch das Energyupdate mehr FFs möglich sind, müssten auch mehr Tanks ausgegeben werden, bei vollen FF doppelt so viele wie vorher. Da muss auf jeden Fall eine Regelung gefunden werden.



Community

In den letzten Monaten wurden die wichtigsten Guides schon neu aufgelegt, der Schwerpunkt der Arbeit des Ministry of Community wird demnach auf der Auszahlung des NeuFöG, der Integrierung der Neulinge, sowie auf diversen anderen Aktionen zur Volksbespaßung liegen. So plane ich ein wöchentliches Poker-Turnier zu veranstalten, wozu jeder herzlich eingeladen ist.



Kongress

Als 5-maliger Chairman unseres Kongresses habe ich natürlich eine besondere Beziehung zu unserem Parlament. Ich bin mir auch bewusst, was auf Grund dessen von mir erwartet wird. So werde ich mich bemühen, die parlamentarischen Vertreter unseres Landes so oft wie möglich über aktuelle Regierungsvorgänge zu informieren.



Allgemeines zur Regierungsarbeit

Ich persönlich sehe den Präsidenten in einer Regierung vor allem als Manager und Diplomaten, welcher vermittelnd zwischen den einzelnen Ministerien auftritt. Sehr wichtig ist mir auch die Kommunikation innerhalb der Ministerien. Eine funktionierende Regierung, die innerlich gesund sein will, benötigt diese Kommunikation, um mögliche Konflikte im Vorfeld zu klären. Ich werde mich deshalb bemühen, viel mit den einzelnen Ministern zu sprechen, um die oben angesprochene Kommunikation zu gewährleisten. Natürlich erwarte ich zudem, dass die einzelnen Ministerien nach aussen hin die Bevölkerung mit Informationen versorgen, genau wie ich das von mir selbst ebenfalls erwarte.

Honestly, a few days ago I have not expected to run for the CP-Elections. But then, when I saw the list of candidates there was disillusionment. Many candidates who just run for fun - little experience. So I put myself on the list, candidated just 4 fun too. A short time later, the first IRC queries were already coming in trying to explore the seriousness of my candidacy. I got a lot of encouragement and my interest was aroused. Appreciates you happy, because for this reason you can read this article now which means that I am running for president on the 5th of this month!



First briefly to me: Most will know me, I'm current Foreign Minister and current President of the Bundestag. I am also a member of the Board of Command of the Bad Company and in this way I determine the military events in Germark too.

Read below my plans for the next term.



Domestic Policy

Basically, there is no real PTO-Danger in Germark at moment. The job of the Ministry of Interior will be primarily the exact monitoring of naturalizations which of course I will check meticulously. Since I myself had my first government experience in this ministry it is particulary close to my heart and I appreciate this (often inconspicuous) work very much.
From the Danish perspective, it should be noted that, as always, a Danish congress is to prevent in any case, otherwise there is a possibility that further PTO-Guys can be naturalized.
It is also very important to me that our union will be accepted by any citizen, I also have a Ministry of Danish Affairs in my cabinet to maintain the direct contact.



Foreign Policy

TERRA is almost dead. One must now consider solutions for the future, but so many alternatives do not exist. The first would be a EDEN accession, the second a step in the neutrality, which brings us perhaps in a better negotiating position with Poland. By the end of last month, there were meetings about the future of Terra, only Cyprus had publicly expressed this more closely and precisely identified these two possibilities. The other TERRA-members are also undecided, some favor the EDEN accession, others are in favor of neutrality, these talks will definitely need to be continued this month.
Although it is unlikely that there will be a total solution of all former Terra countries, but we share a long membership in the same alliance, which was up to the exit from Brazil and the United States also very well organized. Therefore I respect the possible decisions of the other members and we will try to meet together the best decisions for the future.
It is also clear that no matter which option we choose, ultimately, the friendship to Allies will be maintained. Even if you're not in the same alliance, MPPs can continue our confederations, allowing further collaboration in the future.



Defense Policy

First, the Bundeswehr: The current BW leadership makes their case quite well, another BW Reform will not be necessary. The BW has in recent months become active again, and in particular the inclusion of the captain is one thing which I greatly welcome. A responsible expansion of self-sufficiency is realistically impossible because it is too expensive. Thus the army will continue to be mainly as a catch of newcomers, which should not be viewed negatively. An active army can thus contribute that the many new players do not leave eRepublik immediatly and can be an active part of our Union instead.
General things: The common hits, as in the last terms of office, will be continued. I think that they have become an essential part of our germarkisch eLife, which is also due to the good work of the MoD teams. They bring fun and at the same time the community closer together. They are also an indicator of the disbursement of the MU-money, which attracts an attractive battle between our military units. We will see, whether or not a government unit as the GFG still makes sense.



Fiscal Policy

Our current financial situation is rather modest, tax revenues have also fallen in recent days again. Nevertheless, I will try to ensure regular MU-promotion. To what extent this happens, we will still need to consult. There are several savings. One could first reduce the MU-promotion, another possibility would be that the Military Units would give out the tanks for the CMH and at the same time more overall money for them. Because with the Energy update more FFs are possible, even more tanks would be spent in full FF, twice as many as before. We definitely have to find a good solution on that.



Community

In recent months, the most important guides have already been reissued, the focus of the work of the Ministry of Community will therefore lie on the payout of the NeuFöG, the integration of newcomers, as well as various other actions of different kinds of fun for the society. So I plan to host a weekly poker tournament, on which everyone can take part.



Congress

As a 5-time chairman of the congress, I naturally have a special relationship to our Parliament. I am also aware that this basis the congress member will expect a lot of me. So I'll try to inform the parliamentary representatives of our country as much as possible about current government operations.



General information on the government's work

Personally, I see the president in a government as primarily manager and diplomat, who occurs mediating between the various ministries. Very important to me is the communication within the ministries. A functioning government that wants to be healthy internally needs this communication to resolve potential conflicts in advance. I will try to talk much to the individual ministers to ensure the above-mentioned communication. Of course, I also expect that the various ministries provide the population with information, just as I also expect that of myself.
