After several years away from the Irish turf, I have returned to the shores of these rolling hills. I'll take a few days to reintroduce myself to the issues facing Ireland today; what causes Irish hardships and joy.

I've decided to become a member of the Irish Freedom Party, it seems to be the party closest to my own political beliefs. I've also chosen to run for the IFP presidency; I believe myself to be up for the job – I've been the leader of several political parties in the past and know I could certainly do it again.

I'll give it a few days before I put out my official platform for party presidency but think the members of the IFP will enjoy it and hopefully, some will agree with me.
