Good Morning America,

I am formally announcing my intention to run for re-election this month, I will be running in the great state of Illinois.

What I plan to do:

-Continue debating heavily until we accomplish something with our tax policy.

-Continue to push our Congress to become an active body, a group that openly debates and participates in discussion.

-Continue to push for import tax raises. Our market is fully capable of supplying America on its own and if foreign companies wish to export here, well they should pay to do so, just as American GM's have to pay when they export. American Gm's are severely limited in their capacity to export, they can't sell anywhere without heavy penalty, yet foreign companies sell here basically for free. This is wrong and I will continue to fight for change.

Earlier this month I pushed for and received the 10 approvals necessary to put the import tax issue to a vote, I even compromised and proposed it at only 5% across the board for all finished goods. Roughly one third of Congress voted yes, so there is work to be done still.

-Continue to post my voting record on the forums for all citizens to see. Only roughly half of our senators do this it seems.

-Continue to listen to the wants, needs, and concern of the American people. Unlike the same old entrenched power players in Congress, I actually care what citizens think and will continue to bring America's issues to the floor.

Many in Congress feel America's Government knows best what to do with your money. They point to the fact that we have the highest tax revenue in the game as proof that our tax system is the best. I point to the fact that its the highest in game because our citizens pay the highest taxes in game.

When we create an environment where our American companies are doomed to fail, an environment where our wages continue to sink, an environment where citizens routinely leave our country to work abroad for more money, Well we are steering America in the wrong direction.

Its time we put our citizens first, the morale, success, and retention of the eAmerican citizen will continue to be pushed to the forefront of Congressional debate if I am re elected.
