eCanada,
There are some ugly truths that for months have been ignored by those who seek power in our government. People who put their own power above that of everyone else, who take credit but no action. People who don't give a damn about quality.
CitizenB is a character who embodies all of these traits, and worse. He is almost personally responsible for the huge size of the DAL...which has been at over 600 members. That looks very nice for a party....but when 320 DALers don't vote in elections, you can see the cracks underneath the glorious surface. 320 citizens who did not vote, that is more citizens than the membership of any other party in eCanada! The DAL does not take care of its members. It seems to recruit them for votes, and throws them away afterwards. If you still aren't convinced, look at membership numbers.. the DAL has had a drop of over 50 members in the past week or so, and thats not just people leaving because they hate the party. Look at the end of their membership list, its a list of dying citizens, who will receive no help unless you go out and give it to them. No one in the DAL has stepped up so far to do it.
I challenge them to do so.
And then there is the Ministry of B. The Canadian Ministry of Industries, run by Citizen B has in the past received a monthly budget of 50000 CAD. Thats over twice the value of what 1ronman stole from the CAF. The Ministry of B is the largest recipient of taxpayer dollars outside of the army.
Do you know how much accountability has been given from Citizen B in this ministry?
None
We don't know where our tax dollars are going, except for cryptic responses from Citizen B telling congress it is urgent he gets funding. CitizenB started a discussion on the eCanadian forums in congress about transparency. When his ministry was brought up, by several congressmen, all he had to say was "stay on topic" and proceeded to ignore all those comments.
Not anymore
I will be proposing legislation in congress that instead of a monthly budget of 50,000 CAD, (or whatever astronomical amount CitizenB will ask for), funding be granted periodically based on data provided by the Ministry of B. This data must include the names and salaries of all government employees. Congress has a right to know to whom our money goes, and how much we are paying them. This data must also include any other expenses the ministry incurs, such as the purchasing of raw materials, how many must be bought, how many have been bought, and from whom.
It is our duty as Canadians to hold our government to a higher standard than it is being held to today. I not be neglecting that duty.
Support accountability in the government, support knowing where your tax dollars are going. Bware of those who would 'request' our tax dollars without explanation. Ironman, another longtime DALer, has shown us how dangerous trusting one person with so much can be.
Say no to B

PS: I hope Citizen B follows this up with a complete report to congress of the spendings of the MoI. He can't use "I'm too busy" or "its too much work" as an excuse (one he has regularly used in the past), notice the length of his comments in recent articles, he has the time. If he does report to congress, I will print a retraction and thank him for doing his duty to the people.

I'm glad someone's putting him in his place, finally.
I haven't read this yet but your images are taking forever to load. Please chose a smaller file size.
Citizen B is one of the most trustworthy and loyal citizens I know. Any look inside one of the MoI's many companies will show just where that money is going - 6 Q5 DS, 6 Q5 Hospitals, and huge stockpiles of weapons. These things are going to help us immensely in V2 - they are more than worth the funding.
Of course, calls for more transparency are always valid. The key is being able to find the right balance between transparency and risking losing funds to traitors like people who rhyme with firin'flan. If there were a security breach in the MoI it would be devastating - finding a way to ensure the security of one of our most valuable orgs without giving access to too many people is going to be tough.
Exactly Dade. But my point is, we would have said the same about 1ronman..once it happens, its too late.
I don't demand anyone (with the possible exception of CSIS, will be explained in a later proposal) have access. Just that salaries of workers, purchases of raw materials, and other expenses are given to and approved by congress.

Why isn't the MoI at least breaking even? If it has to be subsidised every month, close it and let the free market successfully take up the slack.
@CitizenBooHoo...the admins can't get you out of this one. Will you have to fill the slush fund from your own pockets now?
voted!!
Aside from the DAL comments (which I just don't care about either way) I do agree that all gov't companies should disclose this information regulary as it is tax payer dollars being spent.
ok, look, our numbers would be down to all active and 2-clicker, but we can-not kick out dead/not active members so we stay with a low activity percentage
Up until two weeks ago, 1ronman was the most trusted eCanadian anyone knew.
In Tyler We Trust, All others bring data.
~fkuu~
well, you can see all government employees with salaries if he links you the companies.
Also, attack ads? What happened to the Jb I used to know.
Thanks for sharing Duke, keep it up and you will be looking real good for CP.
JB you are wrong on so many levels. We actively message ALL of our members to keep them in touch and get them on the forums. They simply do not want to. We take care of our members and run a DAL charity.
Citizen B uses that CAD to run companies for new citizens of Canada. To create weapons to fight against our enemies. To get gifts for the dying citizens. To make affordable food for young citizens. Citizen B runs this.
I agree with the data sheet however do you have any idea how much work this will be. I think he should provide information about spending for large amounts of stuff or from purchases of more than a certain amount. He buys a piece of wood and has to put it in the sheet. I would quit if I had to do that.
Why you have such a hatred for the DAL always confuses me. You simply say their bad when really you have no idea. All you do is assume. How about you join them and see who they really are, then you can say shit. Btw, 1ronman really did not do anything with the party except run for congress. The only posts he made were "I'll run here" and we granted him that because we knew it was an easy spot.
You knew how long the legislative branch takes to get shit done. Its a hassle to get anything done if congress when you are a minister. Having to get access seems like it would delay the process.
It is less than 20 minutes of work a week to accomplish all I ask citizenB to do.
I was a member of the DAL for months. I don't hate them, I see several problems that need to be fixed. I attacked several CPF members when I ran for PP, and they took it as such. Now we have worked together to fix those problems and there is no animosity. CPF has 15 seats in congress.
DAL has a lot of potential- I am simply pointing out some problems that you can work on.
For the record, Cit-B provided me with a detailed report of his spending for last month's (May 15th to June 14th) budget.
I had asked him on Friday to produce an updated version of his budgetary demands to me and he said he'd work on one today. I presume, I will receive it sometime today or tomorrow.
Cypher, the person who worked on this month's budget was in constant communication with Cit B and I can only assume that he was provided with the numbers for this month's budget.
You are lying about the DAL, saying that we do not care about our new citizens. You were a member in the DAL and then you just abandoned us, you didnt do much for the DAL either. Ever since I moved to eCanada (11 months ago) I have been in the DAL.
I think he's been in pretty much every party by now, Supa
et tu Pimpus?
I don't know what to say about the DAL part of this entry, but I do think that accountability is needed. If you want 50,000 CAD, the least you can do is show evidence justifying that sum.
just because 1ronman stole doesn't mean everyone is a thief. There do need to be checks and balances but JB is using this sitation to attack the dal in this article:
"And then there is the Ministry of B.

"
say yes to accountability , say no to ridiculous political posturing
Sour grapes? Jealousy? I don't know what it is JB, that is inspiring your hatred of both me and the DAL Party; and personally, I don't give a rat's ass.
Your article is so full of outright lies, that I am not even going to bother wasting my time addressing any single one of them.
Don't confuse me with your good buddy - 1ronman, the thief. You know, the guy you got the passwords to Government orgs from. The guy you were going to run for President?
If there is anyone untrustworthy in this game, its the person whose focus was on ensuring 1ronman would become Canadian President. (Maybe you've forgotten, but we haven't. It's you.)
Citizen B
I noticed this crap like 9 months ago and brought up some of it. Sometimes it pays to listen to a no hold back prick.
Citizen B's detailed reports aren't nearly detailed enough
The ministries wage/raw ratio's are way off
They don't employ new citizens, some of the highest skill workers are being deprived from the private sector
the profit and loss statements are totally unaccountable to congress or the people
There could be massive corruption and the people would never know about it
@Citizen B: Read the post of Rainer N again. This time focus on the part where he did not quote jbd.
😉
@jbdouche: do you want me to write an article about how the CPF lets all their two-clickers die? Maybe link it to two artciles of CPF members I realy like? One is about Miley Cyrous and the other one trashes Marius Coroleone.
Yeah I thougth so.
I have personally sent a friend request and a pm offering help to every member of the CPF, and hundreds of members of other parties as well, without any interest for recruiting into my party.
I have spent the majority of money I have earned in this game giving back to other players. The CPF isn't losing 20 members a night Dr.Pain.
Please write rational responses. Do something about your party dying instead of trashing me.
"😉o you know how much accountability has been given from Citizen B in this ministry? None".
Another bold-faced, outright lie, like just about everything in jb's 'article'. The MoI provides spending reports to the MoF & CP, typically every two weeks. We have just provided another report earlier today.
"The ministries wage/raw ratio's are way off"
Read the fine print in our report.
Attack me all you want - I personally find your severe jealousy amusing. Get a life.
Citizen B
hmmmmmmmmm........interesting points to ponder about
I'd love to read the fine print in the report...
Can you please produce this document for me?
I ask as a congressman and on behalf of the eCanadian People
AAAAA-GREEEEEEEE!!!!!
