Aye Aye Sir

Day 1,969, 12:22 Published in Denmark Denmark by Maine Coon

Someone demanded articles (dont even ask me who - you might even know the guy) and I decided to follow orders which I usually don´t .

But I have no clue what to write about to be honest - let´s just go with it and hope something turns up.

Some days loggin in to eRepublik is a drag and all you do is work, train and fight. Actually most days are like that - IF - you do not commit to the game and community that is.

If you spend time in forum of your country, irc channel of your country and the press - it is possible to spend hour after hour in this game. For some of us even too many hours ( or it feels that way )

Some say that 90% of this game is on irc and in the forums, and I think it might be even more. Politics between people and countries are made on irc and carried out ingame. This often means that if you do not show up on irc, you lost influence and knowledge of what is going on. TO BAD - it actually makes the game worth playing. The scams, the deals, the negotiations, and most of all the friendmaking is all happening on irc.

I would like to recommend people to show up and take part in these things, as they are like told before, a large part of this game. Some make friendships that goes far beyond eRepublik, just by taking part in the daily activity. Some will participate in real life meetings just because it could be fun to meet the people they talked to so many times.

At the same time most countries if not all, have their own forum for the private business of the country. Joining in there is important to run a country, and to show commitment to the people elected in Congress and Government. Most of which spend a lot of time trying to do what is best for the country and in the end themselves.

Forum is also a vital part for visitors that want to learn about your little spot on the map. They too can take part in some discussions, they can see what is going on, some can apply for citizenship ( most countries have a post in forum just for this, to know people a little before accepting or not )

As you might have guessed, signing up for eRepublik can make you spend 5 minutes a day or 5 hours+

It is up to you what this game should be for you, or what you want it to be. Do you want to make it more than just a few clicks every day, or are you satisfied with the few minutes it takes to work, train and do daily order.

Some say an elite rules in most countries, they might be right at some point. But in my opinion these people are those who chose to do more than just click a few buttons every day. They committed to the country they live in, and to the work it takes to run a country. If that is to be a part of an elite, then yes most countries a led by a group of elite citizens. But why not join in and be a part of this "elite" ?

It might make you spend a little more than 5 minutes, and sometimes gives you stress - but it is worth it. It is very satisfying to see things happen the way they were planned, or not and then you have to do it all over to make it better next time. It is a great pleasure to find a lot of new friends to share this hobby with.

All in all, eRepublik is what you make it - the people are the game - the game is the people and would not exist without the ones that care, and spend their time and effort in making this a game for all to enjoy one way or the other.

WOW I did not know what to write about after being ordered to write an article press here to see the order 😛 and now I wrote several lines ( too long to read ? - up to you 😛 )

Hope you enjoyed to read - if you actually did - and now I hope to see even more people step up and join the active part of the community all over the New World - of course most of all my fellow Danes
