My first thought was, he lied in every word,
That hoary cripple, with malicious eye
Askance to watch the working of his lie
On mine, and mouth scarce able to afford
Suppression of the glee, that pursed and scored
Its edge, at one more victim gained thereby.

That's how I feel. Lied to and mislead and I am not even sure by who.
Chileans certainly, in their posts & in their papers. Arrogant strutting would be conquerors. Still full of plans as to how they will divide Australia up. Yet in PMs, decent & courteous people who assure me that Australia & Chile should be bound only by mutual respect & friendship.

Australians, people who I can only think have no interest nor care for Australia, yet one such player, when I left the Australian Forums in disgust at what I thought was weak & vacillating actions (pretty much like now), was the only player who was concerned enough to contact me & ask me why and to reconsider.

I can only follow how I feel - and what my feelings tell me are to go in boots and all, that Chile is offering us nothing, they just want one less enemy to deal with now - because we all know Argentina is far from finished. there are going to be a lot of hard fighting still to come. Then, when they feel they have sorted Argentina, then they will return to us & reinterpret the "Agreement" at their leisure.

But I am holding back, I will abide by this stinking agreement foisted on us. But. the clause commanding us to fight for Chile against their enemies.
Please present Australian Government refuse to accept this insult.

I am holding back because people I trust, ASK me to.

I am going to run for Congress - because I want to see a bit clearer what is going on in Government. I feel and suspect that other nations have been running rings around us. That people making decisions are totally outmatched in any diplomatic dealings with others.

If you read Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came. Let the words wash over you, you will see that is as good a description of true courage and determination as ever was. Not in how he feels, he is full of doubt and despair, but what he does. He does not beat his breast in public, make a song and dance about it all. He carries on doggedly to his final destination. And yes he dies, but to the end he goes to the bitter end unshirking & full of defiance.

So now you know exactly what you will get if you vote for me.
