Aum. A friendly war

Dear citizens,
Today, a milestone was reached. For the first time in many months, there is an agreement to wage a training war with our Dutch friends and neigbours. In an excellent diplomatic effort, staruszek, the country president of Poland, even accepted to act as a witness.
While the 20 Congress Members of the Netherlands already gathered enough votes to make the war certain - they ensured their Natural Enemy bonus and temporarily sacrificed their in-game alliance with the USA - our Congress maintains the suspense. It is still possible that a few Congress Members switch the balance and reject the proposal.
Should our proposal not gather the 19 or 20 votes (2/3 of all Belgian Congress Members) needed, then the war will still be declared but we would not enjoy the NE bonuses until a new NE proposal is accepted.
We urge the remaining Congress Members to accept this proposal for the benefit of all Belgian players and, if not, to accept it at the next proposal.
Fire your questions and remarks in any civilized language, and fight to make this friendly war a success !

I agree with it and hope it goes into effect(The NE that is). As long as it betters our country/citizens, future relations and helps us grow as a whole, I see no reason why this shouldn't pass. I will say this though, I shall be extremely disappointed if this does not pass vote. In my opinion this would have no ill effect. The Congress member I voted for is in favor if this, so at least I know I voted correctly.
With 22 votes for and 7 against, the NE proposal wiil be accepted by 12h14 server time.
Expect the first battle shortly after.
