I've enjoyed the last month in my eLife. Serving as a Party President has definitely been the best experience I've ever had. I had the opportunity to meet many players that I never would have met if I just kept my same old routine and stayed with the Feds. I won't bore my readers with everything that I accomplished, so let's get to the rest of the article
WHPR Press Corps
As many of you know I got a job at the WHPR in the Press Corps. So far I have written one piece, and even though it was only average, I'm proud to have contributed to the paper. Everyone in there is nice, and we get work done.
Israel Stevens is the leader of the Press Corps. In the first week we didn't achieve the goal of three articles a week. Israel made a nice speech about what we need to be doing, and the result was two articles last night. Gnilraps, who is the secretary of media, is doing a great job at assigning articles to people, and finding the right person to do the job. It's been very organized, thanks to our leaders.
Pizza Looks Like a Winner
I feel like I need to write something about this Party Presidential elections. How is it that for the second month in a row there was no official statement from the president or another leader telling people to vote for Piginzen. You can find my article from last month here.
Everyone's just begging for a rant from me. I can't understand how the supposed "enemy of the country" is so easily able to take control of a top five party. It's really not that hard to stop him. Even if there was a huge chain shout now we would easily stop him. So far there are no signs showing that we are making any attempt to make Piginzen the winner.
I mean, we're the United States, we should know better than this! I do have one question, though. There are no reports of Pizza's party members letting in any enemies into this country. I question whether or not he ever will.
Our Offensive
This war is going pretty good right now. Or so it seems. Sure, we're on the offensive, and we're pushing ONE back, but what we don't see is that ONE's region bonuses are still very high. Many of them are over 80%.
I think this will change soon, though. We'll start taking regions strategically, and we'll be very close to a full region bonus. We kicked their butts when they tried invading us, so let's see if we can fully wipe them now. This would surely spell victory for us.
Don't underestimate ONE. They're extremely powerful, and will probably come right back at us very soon. The key to winning this war is to not get wiped, and wipe our opponents. As long as we still have a couple of regions we can emerge victorious.
Kooguy for Congress
As a lot of you know I'm running for Congress. I really believe I'll get in this time. I will have large support from my party, and I'm great at getting voters. If you recall last time I ran I tied, but I lost because I had less experience.
This month I shouldn't have to worry about an INCI member beating me. I'm ready to campaign this month. I have much more experience than I did two months ago, so I will be ready to act if I am elected. You all should know my resume, PP of the Revolutionary Party, WHPR Press Corps member, I was on the Federalist Party News team for a while, and a captain in the Revolutionary Army.
Let's be Friendly
Lately there have been some people that have annoyed me beyond belief. I will not mention any names, but I will tell you my stance on everything, and why I have disputes with some people.
Overall you just have to remember this is a game. I don't attack people unless either I've been attacked first or one of my friends has. People try to make their name in this game by bullying everyone around them, but that's not how I play.
I have to make another thing clear. I don't care what your opinion is! If I completely disagree with someone, we can still be friends. The only reason I would dislike a person is because of the way they handle themselves. If you attack someone because you disagree with them, you're doing it wrong! Attack someone because they attack other people, there's no need to be rude in this game.
The Ten Day Challenge
That's right, I'm taking the ten day challenge. I have told my party what it is.
This is going to be a very stressful ten days for me. I'm going to attempt to get 50 members to join our party in ten days. The eleventh day will count, but I can't send any messages, or shouts, or articles. This day will be for people who I recruited to reach level 13 if they're only, say, level 9. One day and they'll be ready.
What are the chances in me getting 50 members? I'd say I have about a 10% chance, but I promise I'll go all out, and recruit every single player that has no party or is lost. At the end of each night I'll show how many members I'd recruited that day. The challenge will start Monday, whenever I first get online. If I can't start Monday I'll start whenever I can.
I'm trying to accelerate the already fast-paced growth of this party. We will eventually be a top five party, and I want to get there as soon as possible. Along with this I'll have to manage our voting members, and members who want to run for Congress. Overall I'm just happy that I'm making a difference.

Nice article, lot of mix to it.
PigInZen has his own article out about the NCP ordeal. He is not amused. It was his intention to run a legitimate campaign and not to PTO the party. Oblige went around Pig and called for an "Anti Anti Take Over", what ever that is, and now the Pig has dirt all over him.
So much for "Let's all be friends."

If Oblige really didn't make the request for a PTO of NCP for PIZ then he needs to make an announcement FAST. People who work for him screwed up or he did it, one way or the other. There will be no lying their way out of this.

BTW, PIZ is pissy too and he can get nasty if backed into a corner. You youngin's are assin' around with the wrong people. I suggest this is "fixed" before someone gets upset.

I don't want to start an argument. Based on the information I know oblige isn't the one who called for the article. I'll let the others handle what they want leaked to the public, but for now I'll just have you know that there were complications, and that Oblige never signed off on this.

Until Oblige gives a public account, my statement stands. I also consider it a personal insult on your part to call this an attack. I have made no provocative remarks or accusations.
PIZ is a personal friend of mine and I do not like his name being dragged through the mud by anyone, by the person named or by absentia. If anyone is being attacked, or blindsided at best, it is PIZ.
I have been away on a business trip since yesterday evening and so haven't been online to respond to your comment thedillpickl; please excuse my tardiness.
Gnilraps (my Secretary of Media) asked me earlier in the day when I was checking on IRC to see how things were, if I wanted to proceed and endorse a government sponsored PTO of the NCP. I told Gnilraps that it was my belief that PigInZen was attempting to run a NCP driven campaign for PP and did not want any outside support, or to conduct a PTO; what I told Gnilraps was that I would give PiZ whatever support he desired, but that Pig would get to call the shots.
Apparently sometime after that discussion a Whitehouse Press Release was issued called for a PTO of the NCP. I did not authorize this, and when other members of the Whitehouse Press Corps reviewed the matter they came to conclusion that the article was against administration policies and would be better off pulled, so they did so.
I do not stand by the article Gnilraps wrote, and I agree with the decision of my staff to take it down.
Thank you sir, I appreciate your response. Considering some of the details, I understand that you had a helper that may have confused the issue. I fully accept your explanation and assume that you will handle the particulars of any clean up personally.
I apologize to you if I seem a bit gruff on the subject. I did not intend to attack your person or the office of POTUS, that was assumed by others. I merely expected your explanation, which you have freely given here. Thank you.

The problem is that you're using my name, my reputation to further a political goal that may not necessarily be shared by me. I never wanted my PP run to be a PTO or even have a *sniff* of being a PTO given that:
1. I joined the NCP and haven't left, nor have intentions of leaving
2. I intend to build the NCP into a fully respected member of the Top 5
3. I could do #2 more easily if I were PP but can still do good work if not
4. Others making my PP run THEIR ISSUE only hurts my credibility in the party
So in other words, this ain't your campaign. You have your goals, I have mine, and your methods are killing me. Lrn2Politic.

hmmm ... people tossing out misinformation before speaking with the individual in question in a private manner or at least doing some basic fact-checking. this is quickly becoming a trend in this game, assuming it's not already. everyone apologizes (i'm sorry, no i'm sorry, ok we're both sorry) but none of that would be even remotely necessary if people would just be the slightest bit responsible.

After PM's between kooguy and myself... And BTW, that's the proper way that gentlemen/ladies address comments and/or information that shouldn't be aired publicly. ...I came to realize that he didn't understand the gravity of the situation. I also explained that Oblige, simply because he held the office of POTUS, was responsible for what his people did. Even if he was totally oblivious to their action, they were still acting in his name and did indeed USE HIS NAME.
As far as what I said about Oblige and comments following by kooguy in which I was accused of attacking Oblige, let me make this abundantly clear. I DO NOT APOLOGIZE FOR ANY STATEMENT POINTING OUT THE GRIEVOUS ERROR THAT HARMED PIZ'S REPUTATION, NOR DEFENDING MYSELF FROM ACCUSATIONS OF ATTACKING OBLIGE.
Contrary to the way Eli puts it, the "we're both sorry" part at the end of these comments is the way two gentlemen put aside there disagreement and decide to move on, not wishing to harbor resentment or anger. In other words, it's the grown-up thing to do. Because of this I have a new found respect for kooguy and apparently, by his own comments, he has found some respect for me also.
