At least 100 Lions - JvB for BEP PP

The lion – the symbol of British heart, British pride and British power.



And yet it seems to have been lost from the canon of eRepublik culture. For this reason, I am running for BEP Party President, with 3 main policies.

1. More lions.
2. Moar lions.
3. Maor lions.

With this 3 point plan I feel we will have enough to combat the falling respect levels the BEP is encountering. The lion is daunting; it is fearsome. Just like we should be.

My Experience

As you will see, I am by a huge distance the most experienced runner for the Party President elections this term. My current resume looks like this:

Political/economic:
4 terms of apprenticeships in the Ministries of Work, Finance, Trade and Home Affairs.
2 Under ministries in the Ministry of Work.
1 term as Vice President of the RFA
2 terms as Other Parties Ambassador for the RFA
3 terms as a Congressman
Former Minister of Defence
Former Deputy Prime Minister
Successful businessman - manager of the Europa Trade Federation.
Extremely active daily on the forums and IRC
Current frontrunner for the July 2010 Presidential Elections

Military:
5 months in the Navy, I was in charge of HMS Will Salmon for 3 months and then was promoted to Commodore and helped with Admin and Training.
After this I was promoted into the Royal Guard high command as part of their restructuring and reform.
When the RG was finally (and rightfully) scrapped in favour of the Royal Naval Reserve, I transferred the Special Forces where I now dedicate a lot of my time as an active member of their community.
Upon the formation of the Royal Marines, I was appointed as a Brigadier. I have since been promoted to Lieutenant General and Second in Command of this wing of the military.
I was then awarded a MID military award for my service to the Marines, Paras and Navy across the huge time I’ve been serving them.

Policies
My policies will revolve entirely around MAOR LIONS. That said, the offshoots of this will be increased co-operation with Iain Keer’s Centrist Neutrality Party as well as the Indiekid Smells Like Butter Party. These are former parties of mine and we will easily be able to negotiate deals with them over matter such as CP elections and congress arrangements.

My aims for the term are to hit 300 members and to achieve 10 congressman. This is easily achievable with me in charge, I feel.

As perhaps the strongest and most experienced candidate the BEP has ever fielded for Party Presidency, your vote would mean a lot – remember the 15th March!!
