Question: My husband is a famous TV presenter and hosts a show on eBBC every Friday night at 10.30 but he has taken to stealing small kitchen utensils from Tesco after every show. Help!
Mrs Ross

Agnes advises: Dear Mrs Ross. Kleptomania is what this condition is called and it can affect anyone under stress. It is often linked to Psuedo-Tourette's Syndrome (PTS) where sufferers have a terrible desire to phone innocent old gentlemen in the dead of night.

Both conditions require constant control and he should be reprimanded by denying him an outlet for his presentation skills, but provided Mr Ross' kleptomania does not go beyond stealing small kitchen utensils it is up to him and I dare say it is a whisk he seems prepared to take.
