Asher Di Immortales For The East Midlands; A Congressional Manifesto

Day 731, 09:36 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Asher Di Immortales
Greeting East Midlander!

I am Asher Di Immortales. You may or may not have heard of me, but I am running alongside Lord Weiis as a TUP candidate for the East Midlands.

The East Midlands is one of the most important regions in the country. It has a Q5 hospital and is a population centre, housing a significant proportion of the eUK’s population. On top of that it has one of the most well organised and active local councils, with a number of dedicated people offering support and guidance to any East Midlander, along with free welcome baskets for all those who sign up to the eUK forums. Perhaps most importantly, however, the East Midlands has a fantastic legacy of producing citizens who have gone on to do great things – our current Prime Minister, Mr Woldy, is an ideal example

In this manifesto I will outline my experience, my beliefs and a brief summary so that you can decide whether I’m fit to represent you, the people of the East Midlands.

My Experience

• I am currently in the Ministry of Home Affairs as an Apprentice in Entertainment. While doing this I have run a successful Limerick Competition and come up with a number of ideas for reviving new topics as well as gaining valuable experience in organisation and government mechanics.
• I am currently an Apprentice in the Ministry of Trade, where I have monitored the domestic price of iron and guns at all Quality levels. This has given me valuable economic experience.
• I was in the first batch of recruits to join the Royal Marines after they were first formed. Being in the most active division of the Royal Navy has given me great experience and huge amounts of fun and I have fought in numerous wars, including the PEACE invasion of North America and the Hungarian invasion of Slovakia, and even took part in an anti-PTO attempt.
• I am a member of the Military Recruitment Office and have written a very successful Military Recruitment Article called A Marine’s Tale, which became the rank 1 article nationally – a sequel will be published in the next few days. Being in the Recruitment Office has been great and I’ve had the opportunity to work with a number of experienced people.
• I am a member of TUP, the largest political party in the eUK. I agree with its policies and beliefs and through TUP I have made many brilliant friends, without whom I wouldn’t be here today.

My Beliefs

• I am a Social Libertarian. This means I believe in the rights of the individual above those of the state (freedom of speech, etc) and that I believe in a regulated economy aimed not at maximising profit for big corporations but for keeping the standard of living for ordinary people as high as possible.
• I believe in a transparent government that doesn’t work behind people’s backs or aim to deceive them but instead is open with its policies and aims, keeping the population well informed about the goings-on.
• I believe in a strong government that will do what’s best for the country, no matter the cost and will do all it can to benefit the citizens of the eUK.
• I believe in having a strong, well-organised and active military, a military with the support and involvement of every citizen of the eUK.
• I believe in having good relations with as many countries as possible and maintaining strong bonds with all of our allies.
• Most of all, I believe in a happy, well-educated population, with the everyday citizens of the eUK having fun and feeling secure.

Conclusion

If elected I would do my very best to represent the views of you, the people of the East Midlands, and the population of the eUK as a whole, for that is what I believe a Congressman’s duty to be.

I am not asking you to vote for me so that I can get a medal. I am not asking you to vote for me so that I can receive 5 Gold. I am asking you to vote for me because I genuinely believe I can represent the views of you, the people, on a National scale.

Asher Di Immortales, your Congress candidate.
