As the Sun Sets - Day Three

Day 387, 16:04 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Dishmcds

Several musings caught my eye today.

First, our morale is extremely good, which I am proud to say is a product of our "community" feel. We are all together, and I believe this shows through. We shall be victorious.

Second, as we approached the second round of the battle for Picardy today, we noticed that right around the same time Italy opened a battle in Spain (against a region that originally belonged to France). I thought it was a well timed attack, and well coordinated considering they had well over 17000 points into the underground just 30 minutes in. This only means a couple things, however:

A. Most of Peace is involved in taking this region, as it's fairly important in a strategic manner. We actually knew how important it was, although we didnt think Italy would be the one to attack it. I would say the French are also trying to attack this region, just so they can say they've actually done something in this war.

B. Enjoy using all your supplies. Currently, you have about 300 Q1 weapons, and less than 30 weapons higher than that. Weapons in Italy are also about 1.5 times normal cost. Cheers for that. Meanwhile, back at home we are trying to produce more higher quality weapons, and thanks to some world travelling have procured another 100 or so total, to split between United Kingdom and United States Forces.

C. If you are lucky enough to defeat the entirety of the Spanish forces involved, then I hope you know how fruitless it is to think you're going to keep it.

D. I've seen forces from the Netherlands, amongst other countries in our battles. With Italy fighting in Spain, PEACE is running dangerously thin. I would also like to remind the Netherlands as to where they sit strategically on the map, and who their neighbours are. The 40 soldiers you sent won't be enough to calm the likes of Sweden down, considering you're battling directly against them, if indeed this a Government supported action.

So, enjoy your battle in Provence. Get your experience now, as you're using a short term solution to stall what is a long-term endgame. It's already been set into motion. The will of the United Kingdom will not falter, and neither will the testament to execution that is Atlantis. We have begun a true round two, and the US, Sweden, and UK will take the regions we have planned for.

Bring your lunch box, it will be a tough battle fought against the French, but I have every confidence that we shall prevail.

Cheers
