Arundel for President? Ok, sure

Basically, due to the massive power outages and limited internet connectivity after Hurricane Isaac faceraped the city in which I live...I missed the period where I was meant to nominate a Presidential candidate. That means I'm on the ballot, as I was the 'placeholder' until that point.


This is Isaac, we spent some quality time together last week

Given that my main 'competitor' is someone I respect a lot, I'm actually excited about this election. Israel Stevens is a bright dude, and I've enjoyed working with him in the past (and look forward to doing so again in the future). Don't take that to mean I wouldn't do a darn fine job as President, and that I wouldn't enjoy doing the only job I've never done in this country...because I would.



In that vein, and because if I were to win it stands to reason that Israel will have come in second, I intend to have Israel serve as Vice President. This covers mechanics, and our fun little roleplay with titles and badges and all sorts of stuff. I trust Israel, he'd have account access, and I'd also offer him the Secretary of Defense position. This would make him the number 2 in both Executive and Military functions, which I trust him with and know he can handle. I use all of this in a hypothetical sense just because I haven't actually spoken to him yet. However, I know if asked to serve he wouldn't say no...so I'm going to impose on his patriotism.

I'm going to impose on another friend of mine to serve his country once again...



Inwegen will return to his old post as Chief of Staff. Not much else needs to be said, except that during the 15th to 17th Inwegen will hand over the CoS role to his successor, who to that point he will be preparing in his own special Inwegen way.



Molly Emma will be Inwegen's Deputy and successor (another person I haven't technically asked to fill their role...but she was my First Lady in another game some of us play...so I think I can convince her 😛 ). Basically, Molly Emma is a baws, and once she's learned the few tricks Inwegen can impart, will be a phenomenal CoS.

Some other people...

Gnilraps will be offered a combined Deputy slot in DoD and NSC, to continue the work he is doing now.

Avruch and Vanek (and sometimes Cerb) will be handling the running of the NSC. I'll let the them decide who gets which title, I know the prestige doesn't matter to any of them. They will be free to choose their own staff, including carrying over the current staff if they so choose. I trust them completely.

State is a bit of a toss up right now, but I'm going to consult with Tenshibo and Fhaemita to have someone chosen by eNPR tonight.

The only other position I think you guys might be interested in is media. While I think I've shown that I can in fact write an article (when not as rushed as I am now) that's worth reading, I am going to ask George Armstrong Custer, my number 17 buttbuddy, to remain as Secretary of Media. Custer and I butt heads a lot, but he's like a 'fire and forget' missle. I'm gonna tell him to write stuff, proofread it once, then he can publish pretty much whatever. Also Chutley can publish something if he wants.

Ummmmm, if you want to do stuff and have an idea about what that might be and/or who you'd like to work with...send me a message. This is a bit spur of the moment, but we've got the bones for a good administration.
