Around the World in 60 seconds – Day 1,006

Day 1,006, 10:29 Published in Canada Albania by Roger Griswald

I will be attempting to provide global highlights every 24-48 hours or so...

eRussia

After an EPIC battle for Western Siberia, Russia (WSR) yesterday, with over 2,000 citizen on the battle field throughout the 26 hour battle, the eUS was able to secure the field with help from allies (a list of eUS allies: http://www.erepublik.com/en/country/military/USA). The somewhat unexpected victory for the eUS yesterday helps to expedite the Brolliance ( http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Brolliance) with EDEN (http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/EDEN) assistance plan to march the eUS across eRussia to aid with the ongoing war efforts in eEurope.

As planned, eNorth Korea attacked WSR last night thus preventing a counter-attack from eRussia. This adds WSR to the well executed military maneuvering orchestrated with the cooperation of eUS, eChina and eNorth Korea which have already captured Far Eastern Russia and Eastern Siberia, Russia.

The economic toll caused to eRussia by the loss of its three most plentiful raw material regions, including the largest titanium regions under Pheonix control (in terms of harvesters operating within them) will be significant . If the newly grown eAsian alliance of eChina and eNorth Korea can hold the regions for the next 30 days or more, the military edge will certainly bode well for EDEN and Brolliance members.

eAustralia

The current political take over (PTO) of eAustralia by eIndonesian led Pheonix grounp who call themselves “Angel and Demon” has devestated the nations economy, including allowing the continued occupation of Western Australia by eIndonesia (which is now Phoenix's largest titanium region as eRussia has lost everything east of WSR) . While it seems that things will not turn around for actual eAustralians in the upcoming congress elections, the Australian Military Party is calling eAustralian refugees who fled their homeland back to fight (politically) again (read the orders: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/amp-it-up-new-players-please-read-old-players-too--1493892/1/20). The most likely scenario for an independent eAustralia won't come until the next Presidential elections, should those see an actual eAustralian win, then things may begin to turn around, due to the powers a Country President controls.

eUK and eFrance

The eCanadian campaign started by Canadian President (CP) Acacia Mason has seen incredible success over the last two weeks. eCanada (mostly on its own) with some ally help has secured 8 eUK regions (as of Day 1,006). As eCanadian forces pushed ever closer to London, the eUK (and its 8 allies) seemed to be useless at defending it lands. Mid-last week, eUK finally caught a break from its losses when eFrance inter-veined on the eUK's behalf and counter attacked regions previously taken by eCanada (South East of England and East Midlands). With up to 4 region battle concluding at the same time, eCanadian forces have been stretched thin, yet still manage to hold on and push forward. Today the fight will be on both sides of the English Channel with battles in East Midlands, UK and Lower Normandy, France. The eCanadian CP launched the assault on eFance territory to send them a message that they should have not engaged in the fight with eUK. Today's battles will speak volumes to whether of not eCanada can back up its threat.

eBosnia and Herzegovina

Yesterday eBulgaria and eSerbia successfully maneuvered a region swap within eBosnia and Herzegovina (eBiH). The region of Federation of BiH was transferred to eBulgaria due to its high grain resource. While eBiH is an EDEN member and both eBulgaria and eSerbia are not, there are many eSerbian sympathizers (political plants) elected to congress within eBiH who successfully okay-ed the deal. The region borders eCroatia, thus adding yet another enemy of eCroatia within striking distance. With the swap in place all of eCoatia's regions are now bordered by a hostile nation.
