eWorld Elections

Tomorrow Day 1,009 will mark the 26th Congressional elections. The overall theme for these elections is definitely "Political Take Over Madness". With accusations of PTO attempts in 14 eNations, that I was aware of at the time of publication:

eUSA

In the continuation of the capturing of eRussia's most valuable regions (high materials – particularly Titanium). Last night eUSA, once again, region swapped back into Far Eastern Russia in order to provide a region of high titanium to EDEN/Brolliance nations. As mentioned in yesterdays article, the capturing of the region has left the Pheonix alliance eNations with only one region in the New World with high Titanium resources (eIndonesian controlled Western Austalia).

eSouth Africa

At 18:00 eRepulik time yesterday, the Northern Cape region of eSouth Afica came under attack from eBrazil. The region, which holds high titanium resources, is certainly under attack as a way for Phoenix, of which eBrazil is a member, to regain access to the precious resource of titanium (required to manufacture Air Units and Artillery) since the loss of the eastern eRussian regions.

The battle for North Cape, South Africa is slated to wrap up at 18:00 eRep time today.

ePoland

At 11:00 eRep time, ePoland commenced an assault two neighbouring regions of eCzech Republic (eCR). The eCR Ministry of Defense issued a call to arms to eCR citizen to fight, but also to move to the only eCR region not under assault (Southern Bohemia).

While I have not been able to confirm the reasoning for the attack from any ePolish sources, eCR sources indicate that the attack is an ideological one, aimed to crush the current communist regime that recently gained control of eCR. ECR has no mutual protection pacts (MPPs), no official allies, and only one other declared war (vs. eSlovakia – ePolands ally).

eUK and eFrance

Yesterday eUK continued its success in attempting to reclaim regions lost to eCanada, now that eCanada has decided it is no longer interested in spending the gold to attack eUK regions, with a victory in Yorkshire & Humberside. Since the victory, eUK has halted its war efforts for lost regions until August 26. The ceasefire will provide the three nations (eCanada, eUK and eFrance) the opportunity to hold Congress elections as per an arrangement proposed by now impeached (due to rage quitting) eUK President John Bartlett (read more on ceasefire : http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-cp-christmas-in-august-1494645/1/20).
