Around the World #12; Shaking Up Geopolitics

So, how has the week passed in the New World? Who has made progress? Who has been dealt the scent of defeat? Find out in this week's edition of Around the World!
MAJOR WARS
The Argentinean Collapse
Start
After
Belligerents: Argentina vs. Bulgaria, Peru, Chile, Paraguay
Results: I didn't want to call it the Argentinian Collapse, but you have a better name for it? As usual, the Balkans have a lot of importance, and the controller of the area can afford to get its troops to its allies. But with the introduction of airstrikes, the Balkan nations can directly take part in wars across seas. And what a remarkable first showing. After a difficult landing in Bolivian lands, the Bulgarians successfully defended against an aggressive push by Argentina, and then the revolts started, with Peruvian, Chilean, and Paraguayan troops rising up to recapture their homes, and puppeteers attacking under the Bolivian flag as well. The end result is a broken Argentina and what appears to be another success for the Fellowship, and another soon-to-be wiped EDEN nation.
Winner (this week): Bulgaria, Peru, Chile, Paraguay (devastating)
Winner (campaign): Bulgaria, Peru, Chile, Paraguay (devastating)
Romanian War of Unification
Before
After
Belligerents: Romania vs. Hungary, Serbia
Results: Romania fought valiantly until the very end in a commendable effort, but there simply was no way to defeat both Hungary and Serbia at the same time. Luckily for the Huns, who had mostly held the line but were unwilling to push forward, they got their backup, and Serbian assistance is scary good. SCARY GOOD. Romania is fully occupied and Hungarian and Serbian troops are not going to simply let them walk away at this point. Romania will be down until a liberation, tragic as it may be. But who on Earth would be bold enough to liberate them? Hehehe....
Winner (campaign): Hungary, Serbia (devastating)
Ukrainian War of Belligerence
Before
After
Belligerents: Russia, Moldova vs. Ukraine
Results: Ok, so Ukraine had to swallow their pride and let Russia occupy their northern provinces for the time being. But with that being said, the week could have been much worse for them. Losing those four provinces is difficult to take, but as compensation, Ukraine beat up Moldova, a revenge-filled nation who wanted their jabs at the Ukrainians for various things I won't pretend to understand (Europeans amirite). So with a steady peace for Ukraine-Russia and no net loss for the Ukrainians, it's almost as if Ukraine won the war. But that can't be right, can it?
Winner (campaign): Russia
The Alphabet War
Before
After
Belligerents: Finland, Russia vs. Estonia, Lithuania
Results: Finland still has a chance to defeat Estonia, but their chances took a major step backward as Estonian troops fought back, recapturing their western provinces. At a time where the Finnish-Estonian battle is a mere sideshow to greater wars in other areas, the front has been relatively stable, with Finland unable to fully conquer Estonia without Latvia pushing them out yet Estonia themselves unable to push into Finnish territory for a sustained period of time. With Russia making peace with Lithuania early on to focus on more pressing concerns, Finland is once again tangoing solo with Estonia. But hope shines for the Finns, for though their allies have fallen, they shall soon receive their extra support. But this week definitely was not Finland's finest.
Winner (this week): Estonia
Winner (campaign): Finland (minor)
The Battle of Oceania?
MINOR WARS
Portuguese War of Resurgence
Before
After
Belligerents: Portugal vs. Spain
Results: Nice work, Portugal! The Portuguese caught the Spaniards off guard, and recaptured two of the Spanish-occupied provinces. Now, a complete reformation is within grasp, despite the sheer difference in size and strength. Portugal has been the underdog the entire war, but are a small step away from making it back. But Spain won't roll over and give the provinces in a gift basket.
The Falling Sun?
NAME THAT SONG
Blah blah blah guess and win, but only if you're right.
Hint #1: This song is known mostly for its appearances both in a movie and in a sports genre video game.
Hint #2: The 2005 single was one of the few hits the band received, and it disbanded in 2006.

Until next time, take care!

Why only Europe? How about USA, Brazil, Australia against Indonesia and the PH-MY War
Hey, what about the massive war we are having at this moment in South America? Bulgaria invading Bolivia to help his allies against Argentina (and maybe Brazil?). Hope I see about this on your next aticule. Vote!
Fat Lip by Sum 41?
Well looks like I'm going back to writing...
dude i love this segment
Okey, I see you have commented what is going on with South America. And unfortunately, I have the same perspective regarding Argentina. Moreover, we have not received the support from our allies.
Maybe we need a change on our foreign policy...
