Title: US Army Racing: Speed, Power, Teamwork, Technology
Content:

Dateline: Thursday, March 17 - Day 1213
Location: Camp Kinzer, Japan
Reporter: Major George Armstrong "Old Man" Custer

We play this game within a game, here, in order to belong to a team and work together to accomplish more than we might as scattered individuals. The RL US Army is a great example of individual talents and skills coming together to perform as a team, and is why we choose to "play Army" by emulating the RL US Army in our game play.

Teamwork: It's the one thing that can bring speed, power and technology together.

I'm callin' Bullsh*t, here.

We "play Army" in eRep.
We emulate the RL US Army in a ton of ways.
One of the things the RL Army does is sponsor some motor sports teams, and they make a big thing of the Teamwork involved in running these sports teams.. drawing a direct correlation to the Teamwork which is taught in the RL Army.

My article that was deleted drew the very same correlations-- that we, as players, "playing Army" are a team, and we promote Teamwork in order to accomplish greater things than we would as individuals.
I used pictures of stock cars and top fuel dragsters and racing motorcycles, and used quotes from articles and athletes and wrote my own accompanying text, all to illustrate and exemplify the concept of Teamwork.
And that individual greatness is achieved through Teamwork.

The article did not promote the sales t-shirts or other motorsports paraphernalia, or advertise another game, or in any way suggest that eRepublik players should spend their time or money anywhere.
The article was NOT Spam.
