Aristotle, another Great Macedonian

Day 2,280, 09:15 Published in Greece Greece by THRAX and RUMELIAN

Aristotle or Plato ideas? .... this is the basis of the philosophy and politics thousands of years until now.
All the famous philosophers and politicians are placing their thoughts and fighting each other for the basic ideas and standards of those two great men...

And you daddy? Asked me my son... its easy.... for me its Aristotle…

The great Macedonian, whose name means "the best purpose" (of course in pure Macedonian language), was born in Macedonia, 384 BCE in the town Stagira, Chalcidice, about 55 km east of modern-day Thessaloniki (for the non Macedonians we have to say that the name means Thessalian Victory and was the name of Alexander’s sister). His father Nicomachus (for the non Macedonians means “victory warrior”) was the personal physician to King Amyntas of Macedon (the “Defender” in pure Macedonian language)

Aristotle was appointed as the head of the royal academy of Macedon. During that time he gave lessons not only to Alexander, but also to two other future kings: Ptolemy and Cassander.

Aristotle encouraged Alexander toward eastern conquest and his attitude towards Persia was unabashedly ethnocentric. In one famous example, he counsels Alexander to be "a leader to the Greeks and a despot to the barbarians, to look after the former as after friends and relatives, and to deal with the latter as with beasts or plants"…

My friens, life is easy to understand if you just read carefully his books….

Do it people…

Look to a really small anthology of his famous quotes…

“To perceive is to suffer.”
