It looks like RikW will be elected CP in just a few hours, and I congratulate him. I expect some form of address shortly. I also want to thank those of you who supported me. I value loyalty, and I will remember it.
This is the first time in a long time GPN will not have won the CP position. Sure, I can quote Kimberly, but we all know how that went. The coming weeks will be a test for some of the other parties to step up and make positive changes to Netherlands. All eyes will be watching this government and expecting it to preform.
That being said, I don't think much of anything is going to happen over the next month. RikW is a solid guy, but he hasn't held a government position in a long time, isn't very active, and hasn't done so much as write an article since I have been around. That is just my political view of him, though. On a personal and soldier side, I think he has been a great asset to Netherlands and friend to many.
Hopefully I am proven wrong and this term is filled with active changes and progress. We will see.
Oh, and one more thing,

Most governments have been quite broad, in the sense that members of a lot of different parties were in them. So I'd be surprised if a lot would be different this time.
Since RikW ran for CP I'm confident he's prepared to invest some time in his presidency, and will be more active than you seem to expect.

Have to agree with James, about time the so called oposition learns how it is to try and run a country. Luckily you guys won't have a sour ape nagging you about everything. 😉 That also makes that expectations are high, because you'll have more time to actually get some work done. Time for this oposition to put their money where there mouth is. 😉 Good luck RikW!
