Define "totally" for me. Also Kemal has given evidence that lowering taxes will drop profitability across the bar. New players don't produce/WAM anyway and if they do then they are beyond stupid for doing so. Give up the charade already of lowering taxes is helping the new players. Profitability for who exactly?

For the people being taxed aka WAMers.

You realize that contradicts basic common sense, that you'd be more profitable having more money taken away.

It actually doesn't. Rise of taxes = a rise of good = a rise of wages. Or think of it irl terms people want to raise the minimum wage to 15 so people can make a living off a low tier job which is nice and all but the cost of living will just rise as the wage rises.

I'm not understanding what "a rise of good" is. But everyone I personally communicate actively with in this game and/or their workers are either enjoying LOWER wages, or the same amount, simply going AROUND the tax.

I can personally attest that no TBSP worker is enjoying higher wages. I can point to several occasions where tanks with factories are paying their workers the same, but going around the taxes to pay them. But I can't point to a single person that profits off of a higher tax.

Thus, lowering the tax will bring profit to all the many people I see currently suffering because of it. It will not affect me, but untrue to your beliefs, my goal is to support the people of this country before my party, and before myself. If I wanted to gain, I wouldn't have requested my wages dropped to $1 while the 15% tax is in effect.

It's simple economics.

eUSA lowering its tax rate isn't a guarantee in the average wage dropping. The wages have been screwed over for months because people started competing for employees when houses introduced. Also I don't understand wtf you are trying to say towards the end.

Clarification: I didn't claim lowering taxes will lower profitability. Rather, I claimed lowering taxes wouldn't help a great deal with the horrible rates of return the companies offer. Actually The DarkKnight Rises himself showed that WaM break-even date for Q5 WRM companies would fall only marginally even if we cut 2/3's of the WT (708 days to 556 days).

i.e. we would lower government revenue by 66% for a 21.4% better ROI for the rich. Doesn't make a shred of sense.

I'm all for lower taxes... in real-world situations. But here, the currency is so devalued that the difference between 10% and 15% is really negligible. It's not as if you can build up much savings from working - the economy here is built to make the player buy gold.

Now, if we could tax gold purchases, then you would hear some serious whining.

there are several other countries with full resource bonuses. USA leads the world with 15% tax rate. The next closest country is 5%. Definitely time to change cs.

My opinion is I hate this tax I dont ask for handouts but congress 15% work tax is BS. There is millions in reserves from what I gather so wtf are they needing more cash for oh thats right for their own benefit.
