So Goku has been throwing around a few articles recently. In fact – one of his recent ones was about the media war. One in which he seems intent by winning mainly by firing off the propaganda cannon every other day.

Well – sorry goku – time for the spotters guide to blatant lies, propaganda and misdirection. Hats off to this guy – he is in fact a master of his craft – some would say an artist in the war with distorted words.

To try and make this clear I’ll put everything in italics that I have personally wrote and leave everything goku wrote in normal writing.

The Status Quo

likes the UK pretty much as it is now. They are managers and just react to things that happen with little tweaks every so often, always behind the curve at the mercy of game and alliance changes.

Rea😛 Goku himself is a mind reader and actually is an in game mod – so already knows what changes the admins were going to make. Also as he’s a trusted member of international politics he can in fact tell us exactly where each country will go alliance wise – go on goku…use that crystal ball and give us your prediction

They have been in control for a few years now and have overseen a gradual decline in the population and power of the UK.
Oh hai there – nothing to do with the ever simplified game, more credit card requirement and general admin greed? In fact TUP simply run people they don’t like out with pitchforks!

We even had about half a year totally wiped out as a country with no regions until we accepted peace terms imposed by Ireland.

We were wiped – yes…and yes we did ask Ireland to help us out by letting us get a congress – and yes now we are back with 2 full terms under our belts holding on to mostly a 60/60 bonus until the irish deal fell through (due to Ireland – and that actually is the truth) and now were down to 40/60 bonuses…

All they have really done is plow our money into endless wars in Eastern Europe to make the big countries like and protect us.

Rea😛 Putting in our effort to help our allies that came and gave us back our lands and actually made us a priority for a good amount of time – Oh the horror of having to give back something we owe! Imagine that goku! Giving back something you owe? Eh?

Problem is that these big countries are always falling out and switching alliances, so we often have to choose between them and lose all that effort!

Note: Despite the fact that alliances have changed recently we haven’t had to “choose” between them – we actually have good relations with all our allies cause guess what! We actually help out – isn’t that a novel idea. Allies…working together!

There is no accountability here, if you had a bad term as Minister or President nobody cares and your experience is counted as the same as those who did.

Note: People that have bad terms normally don’t get back into high profile roles. People care – and people from all sides of the political spectrum have had their voices heard when ministers/CP’s weren’t doing their jobs

Players legendary for vanishing because of "exams" after taking on heavy responsibilities are treated with extreme reverence.

Rea😛 Not by everything – but does that mean I want to rip everything down, burn it, relieve myself on it and then fire it into space? Nope.





Dare to Dream

Why are we sticking with a group of people and their system which has clearly failed? I want us to be led by visionaries and dreamers who dare to think that the UK could be doing so much better, more than that I know that we can do and acheive so much more! To name a few points:

Rea😛 I like to dream and poke fun at other peoples policies but here are my buzzword laden bullet points for you to get roused up by but actually don’t mean anything/are already being done but I make it sound pretty/are hilarious!

* Can't we plan to expand our borders and get new resources and not just sit idle within the UK and only helpothers sweep across Europe?

So you have to go 8 ranks up to a country which has a population size which is almost 50% larger than ours to find one which has more regions than us. I’d say we’re actually punching a bit above our weight? Don’t you?


* Can't we organise all MUs into one massive daily strike doing massive damage for allies, not just lazily shunting everyone over to a single private MU?

The national military isn’t just shunting everyone into one MU it’s a place which is guaranteed to always have the current MOD orders and has a mandate to help out new eUKers.

Also STRIKES ALREADY HAPPEN – although not daily – that would be nice. If you think you can get more folk along to them feel free – it would be great to do this. But don’t pretend like this is a “radical” new era “policy”! lolcakes


*Can't we have regular and fun real/training wars to generate exitement and medal gold to train our newbies, not sit around months on end planning something safe, boring and unsatisfying?

Oh what – like the eBe one which is happening? Talon was extremely clear that the TW would happen after the congress elections. Which is whats happening. It was organised and had to be delayed because a funny guy in eIreland decided to put up a NE proposal - #YAWN

* Can't we come up with our own fair system for granting UK Citizenship and not just have one Polish Citizentell us who can and can't enter the UK?

This idea has always come and gone. And if you actually come up with a proper suggestion explaining roles, responsibilities of each member, fall back routines and how to avoid a PTO (yes – I’ve read your article about quotas – I actually like the idea, but its just an idea at the moment…make an actual proposal about how that would all work and then I’ll happily push for it in congress if it looks like it would actually work! NOTE: This must be a rouse because I am just a UKRP TUP spai and don’t want anything to change – obviously…

* Can't we have Justice and have public reasons and support for excluding people from the community, not being banned from IRC and Forums for silly reasons with no public reasons or appeal?

Appeals process is in place already. And surprisingly enough it actually works. If you actively work against the community though don’t expect everyone to welcome you back with open arms – you have to earn trust not just feel entitled to it

* Can't we have an accountable Government, not rewarding the old forum posters with Ministries on demand regardless of past performance or letting inactive/incompetent Ministers drag on all month?

And who from this months cabinet would you say has been incompetent?

*Can't we have a stable Govenment where we can do the above but also keep those who do well, not randomly changing Ministers and Ministry names and functions once a month?

Only if you become an elitist power hungry party which overrules everyone else and their opinions by planting fake spai parties to prop themselves up – oh wait…isn’t that what your looking to break down?

*Can't we have Alliances and Battles explained to us so that we can make informed choices about what we do, not have MPP votes and Battle Orders directed down to us from the top?

In the next few days and weeks it is the job of the dreamers, leaders and visionaries to group up, get organised and hammer out exact and detailed policies.

Let us throw out the boring grey forum middle men and put in the exciting, new and fresh players!

Note: Lead by one charismatic and very silver tongued wordsmith ofc!

Final note:

All the above is simply trying to point out that goku talks a lot – but doesn’t actually say anything. The rally cry of death to the TUP and the anti-establishment message is easy. It warps our community and promotes this fracture of our community - deepening divides.

What the UKRP are doing is different. We play by the rules – but we don’t feel like the rules are unchangeable. There is procedure, due diligence and proper debate to happen to ensure that nothing is a knee-jerk reaction and that EVERYTHING is in the eUK’s actual best interests. We value level heads, discerning minds and people who are willing to not only talk – but do.

Goku is not an evil person, nor should he be cast out from the eUK community entirely. In fact only today I suggested that we should give him back his forum access so that he could participate in the correct manner and instigate his changes (you know if he ever actually puts them together into a real proposal) through the proper channels.

Don’t fall for the propaganda machine – test what you are told. Test this even.

And lastly – A lot of this article was written with a bit of humour. It was not written as a personal attack – nor was it in any way meant to be spiteful, hurtful and hopefully it wont increase the divide.

So Goku – Ball is in your court. Stay and play nicely with everyone else, looking for proper structured change using logic and reason? Or fire aft Prop-pedoes?
