Appreciation to PnPP

Day 2,875, 16:19 Published in New Zealand New Zealand by Dizzy Ramone

Since we are very close to PnPP’s 5 year anniversary I am going to lucubrate this short prose on the experiences I’ve gained since I became a member.

I faintly remember when I first set out in the game and I was asked to join a political party, at the time PnPP was the largest party in NZ with roughly 120 members and was also the main party whose members spoke English, with these factors it’s not burdensome to apprehend decidedly the subtleties of why one would have become a member of PnPP. The first party member who contacted me was Oboacer himself who, even though he was one of the most decorated and influential member, had a very humble and helping nature towards newbies that he keeps to this day.

The party allowed me to run for congress and I had won (back when candidates were voted independently). With time I have become PnPP’s longest serving congressman winning each and every time under PnPP’s nomination. It also gave me two times the opportunity to become president and even though I didn’t win I am very thankful to the members who had voted. The party has had many other great presidents in the past, hopefully in the future we can see more of them!

Unfortunately over time the party has lost its members quite abruptly but somehow it still managed to stay afloat in the top five parties even though its relevancy was every now and then questionable.

However, this recent upheaval in both membership and activity causes a great surprise that a party that started on this nation’s first day is still around and has maybe not pompously but at least modestly recovered from the marmoreal quiescence it was sinking into!

There are many other things that could be said on a history lesson of the party, and because it was so big at a time, with its branch in Belgium, its own militia, that your memory is left dumbfounded when you try to think about it. I have also heard that there will be some novelty real soon and I'm very eager. In other words I wish the party all the best for the future and happy birthday!
