Anvil'09 Military Exercise - Coming Schedule

Day 468, 02:47 Published in Norway Finland by Erwin Schauman

Greetings fellow eRepublicans!

First battle exercise of Anvil'09

The first battle of the Anvil'09 military exercise succesfully reached its conclusion yesterday at 20.30 Finnish time. Many thanks for the participants!

In the battle the Finnish side fought 2008 times causing 84495 points of damage, which results to 42 average damage per fighter. The Norwegian side fought 4664 times causing a massive 203317 points of damage with an average soldier hitting 43.6 points of damage with each strike.

The numbers are higher than I expected, but I am sure we can both do better. By continuing the exercise I hope to further improve the fighting capabilities of both Norway and Finland.

I also wish to congratulate Janez Grozni and igneli for receiving hero medals from the exercise.

More statistics concerning the battle can be found here.

Coming schedule

The next battle will be opened in the Leningrad Oblast region tomorrow on the 3rd of March at 18.30 Finnish time (17.30 Norwegian time). The third battle is scheduled to start shortly after that on the 5th of March at the same time of day.

After the Presidential elections there will most likely be a short break from battles while the new Presidents discuss about the exercise and its future, and while Finland tries to get its Q5 hospital operational for the 4th battle. The short intermission is also hoped to bring down the market prices so that the new players also have the opportunity to buy weapons and gifts without having to eat gravel on the next day.

I wish good luck and many viscious fights to the participants of Anvil'09!

Ps. I am interested in hearing how many people received promotions during the exercise, so if the promoted players could leave a comment on this article for analyzing purposes, I would be much obliged. Thank you.
