Point 1
1) The Government should organise the whole UK community into fighting at roughly the same times every day, so that we have fun together and have a bigger effect on battles.
I imagine it would be fun to see the whole eUK fighting in a battle at once but it would not get us anywhere. Firstly, campaigns can last nearly a whole day. If we fought in just 1 hour of that then we would not be helping ourselves or our allies as our enemies would be fighting all the time, winning most battles.
Ok, read Clausewitz' "On war", (please forget Sun Tzu 'The Art of War'), basic principle of war: "march separatedly ( for logistics) , fight together ( to make most harm)".
A coordinated fight, not all in the same battle, but with a little coordination is better than current "fight for the BH and forget the rest", or more ludicrous "fight to make my MU the best in damage, number of dead, rate of activity".
2) New players should be provided with the easiest ways to get Gold and Train themselves up. We need "Natural Enemy" Training Wars where we can earn Patriot Medals and a Military Unit with orders set to UK battles. We can also help them to buy new Training Grounds.
So this point could be in operation now with our current government, meaning New Era wouldn't change anything.
So New Era is not such a radical after all. (I'm not telling here that Cheetah ever said we were radicals). We have many common ideas, although we try to improve current situation of eUK
Point 5
5) A more united and fairly treated community, where people in charge can't just ban and shout down people and views they don't agree with. Any bans against players on forums or chat room should be publically explained with a chance to appeal.
so many people have complained that it's clear that something does not work there.
6) Terrible things have happened in the UKs past from flame wars to rage quits, we would like to heal those divisions and get players back who have left. We will give a Citizenship Pass to any former UK player who wants to return.
Former eUK citizens may be angry. They may hate us. They may want to PTO us. We shouldn't change our current rules for former citizens of the eUK. Any player who we can trust will be let in the eUK, whether they have been in before or not.
In real life, Citizenship of Birth is the only right you can't lose WHATEVER YOU DO, in most countries. Some people here behave beyond any
conceivable form of dictatorship
7) All decisions made by the UK Government, from why orders are set to a particular battle to why we are signing alliances with a country, should be explained fully in public. Some progress has been made but there is still progress to be made.
We have a sensitive area on the forum for a reason.
Yet another blatant lie. General foreign policy is owned by the Nation as a Whole, not by a self appointed elite with very private interests. There're certainly several degrees of secrecy. Party presidents, commanders, congres,... deserve certain access to such secrets. Secrets are not a private property of certain parties or even people

I support this. When I was in the now defunct Royal Navy, I could never be bothered with their "Sunday strikes", I preferred to fight when I wanted to, it's a game about collective individuals after all.
More support for newer players to upgrade their training grounds is a good plan, Britain is really really weak in div 4, it's where we really suffer when it comes to war.
Great article mate. I am sadened at how much negative campaigning has come for the old fag alliance this month...of course it will all be put into spin about how New Era and Goku are facists and have been negative with no policies...policies they are attacking mind you. Not a negative article from Goku yet still personal attacks and flaming from the others and no Talon in sight calling for harmony. Odd that.
I hope you guys are seeing this as debate instead of attacks because some of your members seem to be attacking me with childish insults.
I would be grateful that if on point 2 you could say that it was not me who said New Era was radical. I have never called New Era radical.
And for point 1, we do have some coordination. On the forums you can see where we are meant to fight, and we have national strikes too.
Cheetah, corrected, or explained...If I am going to explain all second and third meanings from now on, my articles are going to resemble Keers' ones.

Out of curiosity why was this under battle orders?
There are quite a few points that I have an issue with here;
1 - If we all hit at the same time, as mentioned, its actually worse than hitting at different times during the day. When we do 'strike' , you are right in that we should do it as a group. But this group should not be the whole nation.
2 - Training wars are not something that can be done 24/7 - firstly in Congress election times (especially 23rd to 26th of the month) a war can potentially mess up our elections ...
... if you lose a region between those days, no congress members are elected to represent it.
6 (why do you go from 2 to 5? anyway)... eRepublik isn't like Real Life, just like Facebook and the internet as a whole is different to real life, so is eRepublik.
7 - We already explain why priorities are what they are. If you want a further explanation, its quite obvious: we should be fighting where we are needed, and where our other allies fight too; we can't fight alone (we aren't powerful ...
... enough to change things on our own)
Finally point 7 - 'Sensitive' is not a self appointed, its made up of elected officials (Congress and President) and Ministers. Ministers are not something that any Party can be against in principle; because one person cannot run a country. Thus, allowing people who day-to-day are involved in alliance politics and foreign affairs an input into discussions seems more than prudent, wouldn't you say?

1. at the same times mean at THREE /FOUR/FIVE hours of the day, for example, HAve you read "The little Prince" of Antoine Saint Exupery, reread it , specially the explanation of the fox for the Prince to visit him at the same HOUR.

6. It's true this is no real life... but do you have any other model apart from RL for our Constitutions, laws, behaviour... ?
7. Stating things in the pasive voice ( we are told, we are needed) ellicits the SUBJECT, The point 7 is about respecting the right SUBJECTS to be taking into account.
