Hello there. Bit of a bummer being wiped, first time it's happened to me and I've been playing since last December. This is a perfect time to remind players that while the military module is the one that most people identify with, it's the political module that makes and breaks the game.

So with Congress deciding to launch a full-scale war with a country that has 20 times the amount of influence as we do, it was imperative that we pushed as hard as possible from Day 1. Success in NewFoundLand would have allowed us options and an escape route. Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way.

Now all the MU's and a number of individuals put in a special effort, and to be honest, none more than Bhane, iBhoy and in particular BiednyMis. We salute you.

However, for ourselves I think we did as much and if not more than any MU in Ireland in contributing to the war effort over the last few days. If you remember, we started the suicide note war in Day 1746. I think the statistics speak for themselves:

We have done everything we can to support this war, regardless of our personal opinion. We will continue to support this country and we will continue to put her interests ahead of our personalities, our prejudices and our opinions.

This is what I love about our unit. There are no egos to contend with. It's a blessed relief of getting on with the job without the baggage and flaming you might see elsewhere.
