Join the new world

As my term as Party President of the newly re-formed Australian Communist Party draws to an end I feel it necessary to indulge myself in a little reflection.

When I resurrected myself on day 1782, just over a month ago now, my only thought was to rejoin my comrades in the ACP, meet the new faces and share a few laughs with some of the older cadre. How sad I was to find that the ACP no longer existed. Undaunted I joined the United Labour Front, the only Far-Left, Libertarian party existing in eAustralia. I remain forever grateful for the support of Kid288 and the other ULF members who supported my bid for Party Presidency and to reinstate the ACP as a political force.

With the support of some old friends I set about resurrecting the ACP, and I'm proud of what we as a party have accomplished in the space of a single term. We focused our efforts not on recruitment but on developing a party of great distinction, with a culture that celebrates innovative and revolutionary ideas. A party grounded in the principles of liberty, egality and fraternity.





It is testament to the persistence and dedication of our members that our message has borne fruit. Membership has grown almost five-fold from 5 to 23 as citizens young and old have heard the message. Our membership now boasts 4 ex-Presidents, battle-hardened warriors, new citizens with a fire in the belly and seasoned campaigners with a glint in the eye. Our party is held in sufficient regard that no less than 4 of 6 ministerial positions in the current cabinet are held by our members, along with a number of deputies and interns.

This is a party that is going places, growing in influence and numbers, and determined to achieve the next golden era in the history of our nation, an era characterised by our dearly held principles of liberty, egality and fraternity.





Enough of the self-indulgent reflection, there is much to be done! Our numbers may have grown, and our voice has been heard, but we are still a minor party. We must grow in numbers and in influence. There is little time for idle chit-chat while our nation is divided and conquered. It's time our nation took a few steps forward, time to stoke the fires of freedom, and the ACP will be front and centre of the resistance.

To serve as ACP Party President is the highlight of my eLife, and there is life in this old commie yet! I humbly ask for the members' faith to support me for another term as Party President. There may be others who are more eloquent, others with greater charisma, still others who are more wise than I. But I promise you will find none more dedicated, and none more committed to the greatest cause.



It's time for another month of Carnage!
