The face of a god

If you noticed the "daily" PMB seemed to have missed the last two days. That was a weekend. I will be taking weekends off to frolic in the non-eWorld and spend more time with my non-eFamily. Honestly, I think it was a subconscious way of making me hate Mondays even more.


On to the news!


A new Department of Education article was published by Secretary of Education Blank Keating. It was a very intelligent, well written article on the battle system and the best way to maximize your damage in the right areas. As a new player, I can certainly appreciate a veteran like Keating getting down to the newb level and explaining things to us. As the ten year anniversary of 9/11 rolled around on Sunday there was a flurry of news stories, both in RL and here about remembrance and grieving. This of course was followed by behavior I found completely rude and inappropriate, and I would like to address that now. 9/11 articles are NOT your chance to tell everyone your political beliefs. Nobody wants to hear that it was an inside job or that its all evil Muslims or that we should be taking revenge. 9/11 is NOT the time to tell everyone to "suck it up" and "get over it already." It was a real tragedy and left real wounds in the nation and its families. Maybe its because I live near DC and know how hard it affected our lives that I can't "get over it," but let me tell you now I do not tolerate that kind of talk. 9/11 is not YOURS, so restrain yourselves please.
