Anonyymit Herrasmiehet - eFinland's future or finish?

Tiimin keskuudessa käydyn keskustelun pohjalta päätimme kansainvälistää yllättävän nopeaa suosiota saaneen artikkelimme englannin kielelle, jotta
se olisi kaikkien luettavissa ja kommentoitavissa. Seuraava uutinen suomen kielellä on tulossa Suomenaikaa maanantai-iltana.

Apologies for possible typos 🙂

After eFinlands massive BabyBoom, a new active party has quickly risen above the older parties.A new party that has caused alot of suspicion and discussion is Anonyymit Herrasmiehet (Anonymous Gentlemen).
It has taken lead on Finnish political activity by rising to be the biggest party with its over 300 members. Now it's time to get to the facts. We interwieved political professionals, if the "new blood" is a welcome opportinuty or is this kind of might of the new players possibly a threat to our beloved country.

As everyone surely has noticed, Anonyymit Herrasmiehet has taken the major part of eFinnish foodsharing, as well as Finnish
party politics only in few days. Most of the party members are new players, since other parties' membercounts haven't changed significantly,
altought, for example, Sininen Puolue (Blue Party's) membership has decreased slightly.
Even though new, active partymembers are always welcome, has some of the people already made clear their worry of orientation of political power such as this, in hands of new unexperienced players.

There's been also discussion about the changes of eRepublik threads on Ylilauta. When they before have been almostpure helping of eFinland, there has recently appeared threads about different rags that are possible to make trueby the Anonymous. The most radical parts are about destruction of eFinland or military attack to Russia.

Our reporters have asked around to hear opinions from eRepublik veterans, whose opinions are mainly carefully positive.

"Possible threat"

First, we came to a very well succeeded media person, KammoXXII.

"Do you think about Anonymous Gentlemen as a possible threat to political future of eFinland?"

-Well, specifically POSSIBLE threat, since that number of new citizens could do generally anything, good or bad,
so they are, in princible, a threat. Altought I hope no bigger conflict will appear.

"Do you believe that the AH party could take the majority of votes in next congress elections, or maybe even win the
precidential elections?"

-If AH party would rise to be the biggest congress party, that wouldn't surprise me. However I don't believe to the vote majority.
To win the presidential election, they have a good change, as long as they are pacient enough to gain experience before this job.
As unexperienced, it's stupid to go to the election as a canditate."

Erius stays hopeful

Even the current precident had time to answer these questions very comprehensively.

"They form as a threat only when they refuse to learn from the previous mistakes of eFinland, and
start working with a "eFinland need us - we don't need eFinland" -attitude. In eFinlands history,
theres several cases about parties forgetting their disagreements to work together for our countrys best,
and I believe AH party is willing to do like that as well.

"Looking at the statistics, it's clear that they have possibility for vote majority. I just hope that they can use their power
sensibly - with this I mean that they would consider about who they support to be their precident canditate.
A week of playing experience does not give anyone enough information to be a country precident.

Party community collapsing?

As a last person occurring with his own name is Wag0nite, the president of Liberaali Edistyspuolue (Liberal Progress Party).
He wanted to remind that the following quotion is his opinions only, and they may not follow the lines of his party.

"I don't keep AH party as a threat at all. eFinlands political future must eFinlands political future must be decided by the citizens. Of course, appearing of a new party
reaching that much of members in short flash of time, is a challenge for the older parties, but challenges and changes are a major part of interestingness of eRepublik.
New parties are born and old parties die when the audience does not see it supporting the novaday's people."

"Getting the precidency would be much easier goal than getting a congress majority. I don't think old parties can stand behind one single canditate.
From this reason, hessu8D may be the new precident in sixth day of next month. Congress majority takes alot longer time.
Reaching a precidency can happen by getting 30% supporting of people. Congress elections are much harder part for new parties specifically, since we older members
can play this congress game and we know how to get in maximum amount of people with minimum support."

We got a little extra information about the topic, and it made a few extra questions.

"Would you want to reveal your personal favourite president canditate? Or are you possibly trying to reach the position yourself?"

-No, I'm not running for presidency. The position demands large experience of the game at outer- as well as interpolitical levels, and I'm not ready for that.
I'm not even sure if I want the position. Many of my friends have leaded the country and I have noticed from the government that the job is not that much fun.
Precident gets blame of the opposition all the time."

"Erius has given alot of unofficial comments about his canditativity. Is the set-up forming to be Experience versus New Generation (Erius Vs. Canditate of Anonymous party?)"

-In the setup theres as many subjects as there is parties. Maybe even more. Most of the olders will definitely not be standing on Erius' side and rather keeps an Anonymous
as a leader in the first season. Erius is actually more popular within new players than he is with old players. He is the father of BB so he enjoys a lot of famewithin the youngsters. Even though in election, there was Erius against hessu8D, it's hard to believe that the "olds" would generally stay on Erius' side. The votes would split
on two sides around 50-50, so it's impossible to say percentually, how many of the new players would support Erius and how many hessu8D.

Thinking of the messages in the forums, not much number of players support the idea that there would be a precident canditate from the AH party right away. Quoting tyrafel:
"I think, in this situation the AH should not get involved with the president elections. The best choice is to be careful at the beginning and then rush to the congress,
still leaving the presidency to Erius."

So, what to expect?

Hardly no one denies the fact that the winds are definitely about to change in eFinland. Most of the current leaders are thinking positively about the rising of AH as a party,so at least our reporters think our country's future as a regional superpower looks hopeful. The situation is new, though, after the BabyBoom, and it's difficult to say what kind
of politics the AH party starts to run, if they get powerful enough.
Nopean Toiminnan Joukot (Swift Action Forces') commander Noddye's comment: "Don't ask me about it" is perfect example referring to the uncertainty of the situation.
Changes belong to the community's circulation afterall. Are they good or bad? We'll find that out.
