Announcing the new USA Welcoming Committee

It has been two weeks since I submitted a ticket to the admins about not being able to log in to the Welcoming Committee and the admins are "still analyzing" it. So I'm here to announce a new USA Welcoming Committee, which will be like the old one, only much improved.

Some major announcements regarding the USA Welcoming Committee:

1) It's no longer a one-man show -- http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1441072>Chocolate McSkittles is the new Co-Director of the USA Welcoming Committee. Choc already has an impressive record of helping new players and helped get the new USA Welcoming Committee running last week while I was busy. He's already raised funds for it (including a lot of his own) and has friended the hundreds of people in the old Welcoming Committee's friend list. In my older eAge, I don't have the energy to run the Welcoming Committee alone anymore after 4.5 months of doing it, so I'm thrilled Choc is on board.

2) http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1261134>Habraka Abrivianius has been extremely generous in giving the USA Welcoming Committee a http://www.erepublik.com/en/company/fort-abrivianius-181737>Q1 gift company. We will use it to hire new players to create gifts that we will use to help people, while at the same time educating people about how this game works and how to be a better citizen. Any donations of labor or diamonds is appreciated. Major thanks again to Habraka for his generosity.

3) We are looking for a new logo for the USA Welcoming Committee. The winning entry will win 1 gold.

4) We will continue doing house raffles so long as we have houses to raffle (and we've already received a couple). More info on this in a future article.

WHAT THE USA WELCOMING COMMITTEE DOES

The new USA Welcoming Committee will continue to do what the old one used to:

1) A free Q1 gift for new players who ask for one. They will also be sent important info and links like the http://eusforum.com/index.php>eUS forums and important http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/dod-orders-194506/1>newspapers.

2) Gifts for players under 40 wellness so they can fight and help us fight PEACE. They are also sent DoD orders and tips on how to fight effectively.

3) A gift exchange for all players -- if you send gifts to the USA Welcoming Committee, we will re-gift them to you, boosting your wellness. But so it's easier to keep track of, please send us a message telling us how many gifts you sent and of what quality.

4) An organization that people can rely on for tips and advice.
